Chapter 15: Two Moons Entwined Chris read through the result slip a couple of times, thinking he had mistaken the word “Alpha” as “Omega”. Nevertheless, no matter how many times he read it, the word “Alpha” was clearly stated there. For whatever unknown reasons, Chris was not satisfied with the result and he was denying the fact Nathan was an Alpha. Before this, he was certain his best friend was an Alpha and he did not mind it. However, after talking to his mother and listening to her thoroughly, Nathan’s description fitted more to be an Omega rather than an Alpha. Nonetheless, a heavy-seed Omega — the rarest of the rare.

"Start the procedure. Let's see if baby sister lives up to the family name." The black fluid rose faster. Stella's corrupted arm began to glow, veins pulsing with silver light. "You can still stop this." I met Angela's gaze. "You're not too far gone." She smiled—not her usual cruel smirk, but something sadder. Almost genuine. "That's where you're wrong, Alpha. I was gone long before any of this started." She turned to leave, then paused. "Oh, and Silas? Thank you for making this so easy. Your loyalty to her was always your weakness."

The marble tub was vast, cool to the touch, filled with steaming water scented with rose petals and exotic oils that curled into the air like whispered prayers. Astra’s hands were gentle but purposeful as she helped Octavia disrobe, the intimacy of the moment brushing away layers of fear. She began to wash Octavia’s skin with soft cloths soaked in lavender and chamomile, her touch delicate, almost reverent. Her voice dropped to a low murmur, as if sharing sacred confidences. “You must understand, Octavia,” Astra began, “Alphas are not like any other wolves. They are storms fierce and unyielding.”

“Who's in favor of Sasha Forster being a Beta?” They almost blinked at the same time, even Giro. “Alpha,” the reddish blonde Beta frowned. "Allow me to say this but...the girl isn't fit enough to be called a Beta. Her being an Omega is enough, even with the—uh, you know, flames.”

I arch my brow and cross my arms over my chest. Aster squeezed my hand, his face glowing with the silent message: I told you they would love you. "Shameless," Abigail scolded. "Stop embarrassing the poor girl." Then she turned to me. He asks "I'm not sure, a month or two maybe longer." He looks at me with pure determination in his eyes. "Understood Alpha." Grabbing my arm and pulling me in for a bro hug.
