General POV "You imbeciles!" Came the loud roar of a man flipping the contents of the table. He raged at the men in suits all lined up in front of him with their heads respectfully bowed. He had a little Italian assent in his tone as he hissed in disdain and cussed at the men in front of him. "How are you supposed to tell me that you have no idea where the Alpha is? You're supposed to be the best with your nose yet you come to me with excuses up your asses. What is this?"

Sarah and Camille were quick to put their numbers in my phone and I saw that Angelica and Dante’s numbers had already been preprogrammed into it along with two other numbers whose names I did not recognize. “Um…” I started, tapping Sarah who was lounging on her bed. “Your numbers I recognize, as well as Dante’s and Angelica’s but who are these two?” “Who? Let me see.” She stretched her arm, collecting the phone from my hand and staring at the numbers. “Oh, those are our Alpha and Beta’s numbers.” Camille popped up from her bed immediately, “Did someone mention our Alpha and Beta?” I jumped in fright, “Whoa, I thought you were asleep.”

Gerald Fitch’s direct line was listed in the registry. I had never used it before. He had never expected me to. I picked up my phone. And I dialled. It rang three times. Then it connected. And the voice that answered was not Gerald Fitch.

When Alpha Hunter picked up the phone, he begins to bang the receiver before he said, “The phones are out too.” In a panic, he begins to pull out his drawers looking for something. Finally, he pulled out a cell phone that I forgot we all kept for emergencies. Opening the phone, he turned it on and began to dial a number. Thankfully, I could hear the phone ringing and prayed that the call would go through. Alpha Caleb’s voice answered the phone, and Alpha Hunter didn’t waste any time saying, “She is on her way there. I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

Alfred reached into her bag to take the phone out. Jessie was afraid that there would be any number that would make Alfred suspicious. Just as she was anxious to reach out and grab the phone, Alfred looked up at her. "An unfamiliar number. It's from overseas. Should I help you pick it up?"

That is not even the problem but them not understanding that I have been looking for him is pissing me off. The phone started ringing again, I dread picking it up. That talking monster hasn't stopped ringing in the last couple of hours. I let it ring out without picking up, if it is an important call the caller will certainly call back. I'm too busy for irrelevant calls. It stopped ringing and almost immediately it started ringing again. "Better be something good " I muttered before picking it up. "Alpha silvana on the line, how may I help you" I rattled away formally even though I wish I could cuss at the person.

I dial the line of the unit in charge of commercial transport, the call goes through. "Hello." "Hello, this is the commercial helicopter unit. Please, how may we be of help?" A gentle, professional voice replies on the other side. "I'm Alpha Aiden, I need to return to my island estate." "We are at your services Alpha, tell us your location and we will be right there to pick you up." "I'm out here, in front of the hotel." "Okay!" The call ends.

*** Halle *** ~*~ Four Hours Earlier ~*~ My phone ringing in the middle of the night wakes me from a deep sleep. I check my alarm clock before answering: it’s 2am, this best be good. Brad mutters in his sleep and Summer is in a travel cot at the bottom of our bed, flat-out. “Hello?” I answer in a sleep-filled voice. “Halle? It’s Lieutenant Slayne Goldrick. I’m sorry to disturb you like this but we have a problem.”

It’s ten in the evening. The sight of an unknown number calling me makes me anxious. I was able to think of many different things in just a few seconds. I breathed in and out before picking it up. “So, is it true that you’re not in your boyfriend’s house this weekend?” a familiar voice asked me straight. “Ally, did you change number?” I asked. “No, it’s my other number. I got a new phone and line from the company just yesterday,” Ally said.
