Alfred reached into her bag to take the phone out. Jessie was afraid that there would be any number that would make Alfred suspicious. Just as she was anxious to reach out and grab the phone, Alfred looked up at her. "An unfamiliar number. It's from overseas. Should I help you pick it up?"

That is not even the problem but them not understanding that I have been looking for him is pissing me off. The phone started ringing again, I dread picking it up. That talking monster hasn't stopped ringing in the last couple of hours. I let it ring out without picking up, if it is an important call the caller will certainly call back. I'm too busy for irrelevant calls. It stopped ringing and almost immediately it started ringing again. "Better be something good " I muttered before picking it up. "Alpha silvana on the line, how may I help you" I rattled away formally even though I wish I could cuss at the person.

She caught a glimpse of who the caller was and immediately picked it up. She pressed the phone against her ear and slowly leaned in her seat. It was still early, but it seemed like she was getting tired for some reason. She opened her mouth. "Emily?" ["Oh- hi!"] A familiar voice rang from the other line. There were rustling and distant voices of children from the other line and a small hush of Emily in an attempt to calm her siblings down. Althea smiled at herself. ["Sorry- my siblings are too- hey, get back inside! -"]

*** Halle *** ~*~ Four Hours Earlier ~*~ My phone ringing in the middle of the night wakes me from a deep sleep. I check my alarm clock before answering: it’s 2am, this best be good. Brad mutters in his sleep and Summer is in a travel cot at the bottom of our bed, flat-out. “Hello?” I answer in a sleep-filled voice. “Halle? It’s Lieutenant Slayne Goldrick. I’m sorry to disturb you like this but we have a problem.”

When Alpha Hunter picked up the phone, he begins to bang the receiver before he said, “The phones are out too.” In a panic, he begins to pull out his drawers looking for something. Finally, he pulled out a cell phone that I forgot we all kept for emergencies. Opening the phone, he turned it on and began to dial a number. Thankfully, I could hear the phone ringing and prayed that the call would go through. Alpha Caleb’s voice answered the phone, and Alpha Hunter didn’t waste any time saying, “She is on her way there. I’ll be there as soon as I can.”

Harmonia squinted and felt a lump in her throat. Her cell phone rang, and the name ‘Absalom Terran’ showed up on the caller ID. Harmonia waited until the ringing stopped, but she still did not answer the call. She walked to an extremely inconspicuous corner which was also a blind spot for surveillance and made a call.

I park immediately and walk into the diner to ask for her. An old lady approaches me with a smile on her face. “Welcome to Macy’s Kitchen. What may we offer you, Alpha?” “I am looking for—” My phone suddenly starts ringing, and I look at the screen to see that the call is from an unknown number. “Who is this?” I ask as I pick up. “Good evening,” a female voice says from the other end of the phone. “I said, who is this?” I groan. I don’t have the time to be taking unnecessary calls. It’s either she has information on Elara, or she gets the fuck off the phone.

He said to me and I waved him off. "As far as you know what you're doing" I say and he saluted me. Silly man. I pressed the number three on the telephone and raised the receiver to my ear. "Hello Alpha Raze" the voice on the telephone sounded elderly and I responded with respect, reciprocating the respect given to me. "Hello, good evening, this is Alpha Raze on the line. Who is this and how can I help you?" I asked as politely as I could, also trying to soften my voice and remove the edge from it.

Alice added. “Ah, I see.” Hector said. “Anyways I need to get back to work see you at the party.” “Okay, I’ll start working on plan B. Love you.” Alice said. “I love you too.” Hector replied After ending the call, Alice scrolled through her contacts again, but this time she stopped at Michaels name and smiled. “Hello there, Plan B”

He rushes up the stairs to pick up the pink sticky note that he saw Melanie leave behind and then he finds it “I will be going to Pearl Coast with Caleb to look for my assistant, Shirley. Just do you know, Alex broke my phone when he ran into me but I will get across to you before noon tomorrow because by then I should have gotten a new phone but if I don’t, you can call Caleb’s number. The number is 1-370-465-720 and I will be back before you know it, so don't miss me too much. Toodles 😘” he reads and he is very happy that Melanie left him a message but he is not sure if Calling Caleb is an option that he wants to succumb to.
