She wanted to ask a lot of questions, but then, she knew that her mommy knew nothing. She observed the date again and started counting. Her real birthday was celebrated eleven days prior to Christmas, but this date was twenty days prior to Christmas and the same birth year. Calvin used to celebrate her birthday every month, just an excuse to celebrate a day with her by eating their favorite chocolate cake, just the two of them. But she knew that when her real birthday was celebrated, all her family members used to be there with her, along with pack members.

She worriedly asked, “It has been days since you last cried.” I smiled before nodding, “It’s still hurt, but I won’t let myself get affected. I can’t let anyone see that side of me.” Alison tapped my back, “Well his lost anyway, I am happy for you, plus, your birthday is coming up!” Right, I forgot that after his birthday, mine would come shortly. We were happy back then that it was the same month, I brushed off those memories in my mind. “And we have something planned!” Oliver grinned and whipped out his phone, revealing to me the big party that will happen in the white mountain, “We are celebrating your birthday here!”

While I just hid there like a coward "Hey chipmunk, look at your pack. Look how happy they are." He whispered in my ear and rubbed his bearded cheek with my cheek. I pulled my face out of the crook of his neck and looked around. Some of the pack members were even dancing to express their happiness for their Alpha. They looked so… real. I smiled widely looking at them. He pecked my cheek and I leaned into him.

There is something fishy. “What you are implying?” I ask curiously. “Alpha. Let me tell you what I got in brief,” he says, and I nod. I want to know every bit of truth and I believe he will tell me only the truth. “That year it was the first time Alpha Robert celebrated her birthday.” He says, and I look surprised. “First time means?” Is this a joke? She was eighteen, so her birthday should be celebrated every year, right? “Luna’s birthday was never celebrated before in this pack. Every year, both Aries and Ariel’s birthdays are used to celebrate. But they never celebrated Luna’s birthday.” he says, and I was becoming confused.

I reached my right hand back to steady myself, knocking over the custard Alvin had left out in a pitcher; spilling the sticky cream all behind me. Teddy and I paid it no mind, lost in the moment. I was in a place of bliss, enjoying my first happy birthday I had had in a long time. Teddy worked himself down to my shoulder again to the same spot as last night, biting down to mark and leave a hickie on me; being careful not to break the skin.

Samantha's POV I shook my head, still in disbelief. I had just walked out of his office, and he never acted like he knew today was my birthday, but this were the exact flowers Alaric had given to me the very first time I celebrated with him. I had stopped celebrating birthdays when my mum had left Ravenfur Pack. I almost didn't remember it until Alaric surprised me after my seventeenth birthday. It had been few months after we began talking and meeting each other.

Thirteen was a rite of passage for werewolves. Violet, Daphne, and my brother had been over the damn moon when we learned which day was Ava’s actual birthday. As fate would have it, Pi Day was her special day. She immediately became a permanent cool kid with that fact. Therefore, an entire table of all kinds of pie was also out here. Violet and I spent time with the pack members while our pups went out to have a blast. I had never seen them having so much fun before. Their peels of laughter and excitement made us happy.

A scent that made me addicted, and I didn’t want to be away from Alaric. “Uh, oh,” Alaric said while clapping his hands once. I didn’t understand why he liked to do that so much. “Everyone in the two packs will celebrate your birthday every year." I would also celebrate Alaric’s birthday yearly with decorations and themes that suit his wishes. “What do you like?” I stroked my chin. Alaric looked at me with his thick eyebrows knitted together as if he was also digging into his thoughts. “You like giraffes and elephants. You can wear a giraffe or elephant costume.” I snapped my fingers.

Olivia “Alvin?” I called out, leaning forward to get a better look at the supposed monster in front of me. “Is that you?” In the quiet stretch between one breath and the next, my world changed. The creature — Alvin, I was sure — froze as though he’d been struck by lightning at the mention of his name. This was Alvin, my childhood friend. I was sure of it now. In fact, as I looked at him, he suddenly didn’t seem so large and beastly at all anymore. He was just a regular-sized werewolf with a missing paw and a sad look on his face.

Alison said. " Ohh okay. Welcome to the family kid sis." Nic said smiling while snatching a pancake from my plate. " Hey that's mine." I said playfully glaring at him. " That's what big brothers do." He smirk at me and everyone laughed. " umm nic I am pretty sure you guys are the same age." Alison said. "When is your birthday?" Nic asked me. "September first." " see I am older. Mine is July tenth." He said and everyone just shook there heads amused
