Loved By A Shadow

Loved By A Shadow

And then, finally, the forest opened Infront of her eyes. The trailhead almost yawned at the base of the Mystic Mountains, marked by a splintered wooden sign half concealed by moss. Beyond it, the trees stood tall and silent, their branches twisting upwards like skeletal arms clawing at the perfect sky, the darkness behind them that never seemed to lift. Eden stopped at the threshold, taking a deep, cleansing breath, with the earch crumbling under her boots. She pulled her map from her pocket unfolded it and traced the dotted line that showed the three day loop she had chosen for this particular visit with her fingertip.

Alpha Atlas

Alpha Atlas

So long as our people survive, homes can be rebuilt. We continued through town until we reached the dense forest that surrounded us. Atlas's pack had always been blessed in the way of land; rolling hills, dense forests, and mountains that reached the sky. We stopped at the edge of the forest, at the entrance of a community park. There were nearly a dozen hiking trails, and a sign that showed different difficulties.

I normally don't write comments but I need to tell you that I wait everyday for more chapters. your writing makes me feel like I'm the one experiencing this first hand and I'm always begging for more. so beautifully written and I love every minute of it. if I could I'd give this book a million stars

This book was slow at first and filled with a lot of pain, but I find myself being a sucker for the wounded girl who becomes a strong, badass fighter. While I'm still clamoring for more of the raw, love/hate relationship in this book, I am enjoying the determination of the strong female protagonist.

I’m done reading this book The last few chapters was a repeat chapter and that is so annoying. It’s not the first time or the last time I’m sure I’m over this book I really like it but not enough to just throw money away Good luck to the author but won’t be getting no more of my coins

Before I lost my old phone I had this app. and several books on it including this story. Unfortunately I have started rereading it and I'm a bit disappointed... Same story but somehow it reads like a little kid wrote it... Sorry but it's true.. Please fix the way it's edited and correct the mistake

Guardian of Ruin

Guardian of Ruin

The van rumbled to a halt. “You sure about this?” the driver asked over his shoulder. “Next step’s a hiking trail. No wheels past this point.” “I’m sure,” Eden said, hoisting her backpack over her shoulder. The driver hesitated. “You got a signal up there?” “No. But I’ve got a gun.” She didn’t wait for him to respond. She stepped out into the rain and didn’t look back. --- The trail vanished after only a mile. Pines thickened around her. Mist clung low, swallowing every sound. The deeper she went, the quieter the world became, like it was holding its breath.

Lake Creek

Lake Creek

Bright green, yellow, faded brown and all bunch of colours made up the vegetation. "Woah" she gazed at everything in awe. Beautiful! Absolutely beautiful. The scenery was picture worthy. Vast untamed nature, all around her. She looked back to Carl "This forest... It leads to Lake Creek? I'm surprised there is a cleared path to drive-" she was thrown back into her seat as the car came to an abrupt stop. "Oof! A warning would have been nice" she mumbled under her breath as her hands went to grab her hair out of her eyes. She heard a door slam and her eyes shot open. Carl got out, pulled her bag out of the trunk and yanked her door open

"Y-Yes, Boss Jan." Damn it! Again? This night has the worst embarrasing moments of mine! "Okay now, grab your luggages or should i say camping bags. Make sure that you brought tents for our hiking, and some snacks too," He declared. "Because it's a three day hiking. Grab your suits now and let's get going." All of us, except Boss Jan takes our luggages out of the van and tuck in on our backs. I grab one of my chocolate bars and eat it. Well, i'm hungry you know?
