Aster

Aster

asked Keira with a twinkle in her eyes. "Just a moment, princess." Langit took something in his car, a bouquet of flowers that he had prepared earlier gave to Keira. "Sky..." "Your favorite, pink rose." Keira received the flower with a happy feeling, kissing it repeatedly. Her face lited up, her eyes twinkeled. Keira always liked when Langit gave her pink roses, a flower that was always beautiful to her and had a story. "Pink roses, not pink marmots." Langit smiled warmly then kissed Keira's forehead softly. "I like pink, because in that color, I seem could see you."

She Rose from the Ashes

She Rose from the Ashes

Cedric said with a smile. "What kind of day?" "Your one-year recovery anniversary." He pulled out a bouquet of flowers. "Congratulations—on being reborn." I took the bouquet, my eyes misting over. "Thank you, Cedric. For this past year… for staying by my side." "Silly girl," he said gently. "I told you, I'd wait as long as it takes. So… are you ready to give me a chance now?" I paused for a few seconds, then smiled. "Alright."

The Devil's Broken Doll

The Devil's Broken Doll

He shoved his sleeve up with shaking fingers. The ember-sigil—dormant for years, quiet beneath the layers of shadow and demon magic Apollo had wrapped him in—glowed furious gold beneath his skin. Lines of molten light crawled along the old pattern, threading and re-threading the symbol he’d been born with: the crest of Ashborne, the promise of Emberborn. The edges of the sigil seemed to lift from his flesh, like a brand remembering the moment it first kissed skin. “Shit,” he breathed, voice ragged.

Adored By My Ruthless Alpha

Adored By My Ruthless Alpha

“Remember what happened when you tried to pluck a flower from the garden?” “It withered away. I didn’t want to hurt it; I just wanted to keep it because it smelled nice,” Ash whimpered, the memory clearly affecting him. He had been genuinely upset when he accidentally crushed the delicate petals. “Flowers need to be handled gently because they’re fragile,” I explained patiently. “Amber is just like a flower.” Ash gasped in horror, his eyes wide. “So you’re saying she’ll die if I rush things?” I narrowed my eyes at his simplicity and said, “Not quite, but something along those lines. You don’t want to risk losing her, do you?”

Blood Rose

Blood Rose

Rosette: You are a doctor, aren't you? Alexander: Well yeah, but that's for those on my payroll, my patients, and anyone one else who cares for the formality. And you're neither. Rosette: Interesting. Well if I'm neither, then which category do I fall into? Three dots appeared to show he was typing before they disappeared again, and I grew slightly nervous about what he'd say, especially when he was taking his time in answering. Finally though, his reply came. Alexander: You're a beautiful flower that I'm starting to really like.

My Alpha From Hell

My Alpha From Hell

Ambrose visibly took a deep breath, before addressing the crowds. "I have an announcement to make." His voice rolled like thunder. Everyone stilled. "A few weeks ago I was introduced to a wonderful young female by the name of Sephora Beltane." Sephora noted he was choosing his words carefully, so as not to let others know she was really a Nuanam - clever. Ambrose continued.

Infinite Dawn

He grumbled as he took his seat beside me. His mother sighed as she placed her hands on his shoulders. “Son. Her mother’s sins are not his fault. I know how cruel Dubheasa is. But Amaris is different. I’ve been observing him for a long time and I have seen his heart. He is a good person.” She stared blankly at the wall and smiled. “He even looked like your older brother—Aries.”

A Time for Strength

A Time for Strength

It looks like when a dragon sheds its scales. “This ointment tonight and tomorrow. It should heal by dinner.” Cason hands me the tube. “Thank you so much, Cason!” I look at my friends. “What did you bitches decide to get?” “Crescent moon above the Gemini constellation twins, Castor and Polydeuces.” Ashley beams. “Peonies for my wolf.” Carly holds up a photo of flowers. “Love it.” I giggle at them. “Do you mind if I get a breath of air? Sitting still that long was the worst.”

Nancy
I thought this was a great book. It was interesting to read the perspectives of other characters, allowing us to see what they knew and when. My only complaint is a seemingly awkward ending. Does anyone know if the author is ok?

31 Chapters 07/13/23 Yesssss Sugar Mama, you've got my attention. Love a baddie, strong female with a saucy attitude. I was so tired of these weak little damsels who need big Zaddy Alpha to save them. I was horny throughout FL scenes. Thank you for that.

Saving My Rejected Mate

Saving My Rejected Mate

“It also strengthens our shamanic abilities. We’ll need all of it—if we’re to purge what’s been planted inside you.” Then Orun turned to Mason, giving him a silent nod. “It’s time.” He reached out and took Aria’s hand with reverent care, guiding her to the center of the octagram, where the circle made from mountain ash is. Orun placed a floral crown gently atop her head. This one unlike the others. Hers was heavier, more fragrant. Aria caught the earthy scent of sage, the sharp touch of rosemary, and the sweet calm of lavender. Protection. Purification. Peace.

Alpha Jasper

Alpha Jasper

I say. Asher smiles, sliding the bottle back under the bench. As he does so, I take a moment to assess him. I'm sure many girls would find him attractive. The sharp features, those eyes and that dark hair he doesn't seem to mind keeping completely unruly. Nope, he is not my type. Asher looks at Jasper expectantly, but he holds his hands up defensively. Almost instantly, the Alpha of Desire's eyes flicker back to me. "Not even some Bacardi?"
