I think he doesn't know about her powers, otherwise he would have started with it.

Norma found nothing amiss in the identification records of Zander and Andrew Udimov. Zander was of Romanian origin, while Andrew was born in the United States. Daniel let out a sigh. “Leo and James are doing okay but Andrew, he's Unconscious now but the doctor said they'd do everything to save him" Zane clenched his fist and gritted his teeth. How many more people have to die or get injured before he can get rid of that monster? He has to do something quick. Kiara grabbed his fist and gave his palm a reassuring squeeze with a smile on her face. “Don't beat yourself up. I'm sure you'll get the monster soon" He smiled at her then leaned down and placed a kiss on her lips. Her touch always calmed him down.

Fear? No one spoke after that. Zane didn’t mean to find himself outside Andrei’s quarters. Didn’t mean to knock. Didn’t mean to care. But the door opened before he could decide if he would really wanted to be here. Andrei stood there, shirtless, jaw tense, eyes unreadable. “What?” He asked almost dismissively. Zane pushed inside. Andrei let him. The air inside smelled of pine and steel and smoke. “I’m not a game piece,” Zane said softly. “And you don’t get to pretend I don’t exist when it suits you.”

He wanted him to be in so much pain he would beg for death. “Ethan!” Zane ran forward to pull him from Andrew. Zane placed his hand on his chest to calm him down. He looked over his shoulder and saw that Andrew was coughing blood still lying on the ground. “Get the fuck out of my way!” He warned. “I know you’re angry, but we need him alive to conclude the case. I’d help you finish the fucker off but we can’t so clear your fucking head!” Zane snapped. Ethan’s breathing was ragged, his body trembling from how angry he was.

I don’t trust it because of how dangerous it is and how easily one can wield it as a weapon. I look over to Zane. The handsome, sexy, brooding, and very dangerous warlock. He has ash brown hair that is styled with a short fade haircut on the sides and back with long side-swept hair on the top, a light beard, and dark gray eyes. He seems physically fit, but I can’t fully tell with the black trench coat he is wearing. Zane is attractive. It’s as if he is calling to my soul. Strange to feel that connection with someone I just met, and I’m not sure you could even say we’ve officially met.
