He knew he could explode with words anytime, he could feel irritation all over him. “Like what? What do I sound like, Mom?”

SAVANNAH “Okay, can you start with Evans?” I ask, leaning forward and giving her my full attention. She sighed. “I knew that was where you were going to start.” She wrenched her hands together. “Did you speak to him about it?” “I did,” I hesitate to tell her the truth. “He was angry and said some things,” she looks over at me, and I clarify, “Not bad stuff. Alone.” He added the last part when Evans tried to speak. I didn’t bother to look at Evans because I knew he would want answers and I wasn’t ready to speak to him. If I am being honest, I wasn’t ready to speak with Andro either but I know it would be best to just get this part out of the way.
