In all these years, I've seen Freddy only for a few times and those few times were enough for me to know why he doesn’t have a family for himself. He just talks less and stares more at anyone who ignores him or doesn’t consider talking with him. He has this dark three inch long scar across his nose, which seems like decades old. Long, uneven hairs that he neatly combs and the round thick glasses that he never takes off. As if the annoying student from a while ago was completely a different person. “To use lives as a means to threaten and communicate with his enemy, this man surely knows how to show dominance. This is starting to get interesting.” Jendo uttered as he mischievously smirked and placed the perfectly sliced apples that he carved as little bunnies on the platter of fruits and snacks he prepared.

Four faces turned toward me with the same expression the specific look of children encountering an adult who has just said something too good to be immediately trusted. “All of it?” Loveth said carefully. “All of it,” I confirmed. “Aquarium, jellyfish, amusement park, the upside-down ride, ice cream first because Dean is right about that one, and the spinning thing at the park at the end. All of it. One day. Starting now.” Freddy stared at me for exactly one second before turning to his siblings with the energy of someone who had just won something enormous. “I told you daddy was the best one.”

The sound of vibration from the girl made Kei and Freddy smile seeing the cuteness of the girl. "Tomorrow I have a lot of questions to ask you. So tonight we rest first." Kei began to rub his waist and arms which felt sluggish and tired. So did Freddy next to him already yawning. The cute cat yelled at Kei and Freddy, maybe it would be fun to sleep with them.

It is a small space with shelf-covered walls. There are glass bowls on the shelves, each one of them containing different colors of sweets. Lemon-shaped yellow candies, caramel-flavored sticks, colorful lollipops, red and white sugar canes...Candace enjoys the view and looks at them with enthusiasm. This is a delightful opportunity to act like a little girl who needs her daddy to take care of her. "Ah, sir! They look incredible." She bites her bottom lip and turns around to face the man who watches her intensely. "May I try one of them?"

“We really haven't.” “We should remedy that,” Freddie said, nudging my arm with a grin. I raised a brow. “What, like right now?” “No time like the present.” He leaned back against the railing like this had been his spot all night. “Cassie Monroe. The girl who broadcasts like a pro and takes cherry slushie showers like a champ.” I narrowed my eyes. “You mean the slushie you schemed?” He held up both hands, mock-innocent. “Allegedly.”

Roy's POV Opera? Concert? Was Freddy stimulated by something? Is he haunted? Freddy says, "Choose what women in their early twenties like to watch." I am finally enlightened. I cover my mouth and snicker. Remembering that I am talking on the phone, and he can not see me snickering, I put down my hands and laugh wantonly and silently. "Yes, Alpha, I will book the ticket and will send you the information." I come to the Barnett Group the next morning.

At that moment, I wished I had my phone back so at least I could pretend I was busy with it. Maybe that way...Freya wouldn't have decided to rope me into a conversation. "You know," Freya starts in a silky tone which lets me know that she's about to start spouting a whole lot of shit. Regardless, I turn to give her audience while keeping one eye on the men working. "Just because a bear plays with a rabbit doesn't mean he'll give birth to a rabbit." I cast an amused glance at the heavens, wondering if I was gone too long or if Freya was spouting proverbs.

Freddie agreed with a smirk, I knew he meant because I was sitting on him. “I hated it! How can you say that was good? I mean, jeez, they’re dead people who eat live people and turn them into flesh eating zombies too. And now I have to pee, and I’m scared to go on my own!” I whined, standing up and pouting. Why did I watch that stupid thing anyway? I knew it would scare me! All three of them laughed at me, but Freddie stood up. “I’ll come with you and check the bathroom for scary un dead before you go in, how’s that?” he offered, nodding his head towards the bathroom in the hall, smiling.

Fabrico suggested and lifted her off the ground, placing her on his shoulder. "Yay! Strawberry!!" Freya clapped her hand and I smile at Fabrico thanking him for stepping in. She's so defiant when it comes to me stopping her from having too much milk and as I said before, only Fabrico can ease her up. "What about you? What would you like babe?" He asked me. "Popcorn," I say shortly. "Daddy, look! A horse!" Freya pointed to a carousel. "Wanna go there Princess?"
