The lines inside it were restless and precise and strangely beautiful, like a private language. Anaan made lists. She found one once a handwritten one, left on the table in the second sitting room where he had apparently been sitting when her call came in and it was not a business list. It was a list of titles: books, she realized. Books he had been meaning to read. One of them was a title she had mentioned in passing three weeks ago, and it appeared near the top of the list with a small asterisk beside it that she recognized as the mark he used for things he considered genuinely important. She put the paper back exactly as she had found it.

" Annalia rolled her eyes before walking to the drawer where he kept the various paperwork and documents. "H-hey! Stop being so obstinate, Annalia. Just get out of here!" Donovan yells while rising from his seat. Anna dug through the stuff of his drawer and was eventually successful in finding Adam's folder. After looking through it, she discovered his address. Ha! Got you. Annalia left Don's office without trying to tidy up the papers and documents she had jumbled up.

If she opened it, Arthur said, he would reveal everything. Every secret. Every birth. Every crime. Every name. But if she refused, he would destroy the archive permanently. Anna looked at us. She said the archive contained the truth about why the organization had been created. It also contained evidence capable of exposing thousands of people. I asked whether there was another option. Anna shook her head. Then Ethan stepped forward. He said there was. He had spent his entire life being told that the system determined his purpose. He no longer believed that. He told Anna she didn't have to choose between Arthur's demands and destroying the archive.

The twins were her price. The call ended before I could answer. I stared at my phone like it was a loaded weapon still smoking from discharge. For a long second, my legs refused to move. Then I was pacing the living room, pen still in hand, notes trailing messily along the paper as my mind braced for war. I dialed Anna first, voice low, taut as wire. She promised to retrieve the drive copies we hid at her clinic and the additional archive in the basement of the hotel. Hearing her voice steadied me.

Brandon asks her with concern and the nickname he gave her burns the possessive lover inside me. "Don't call her that." I hiss in his ear and as I predicted, a smirk spread on his lips. "I am hundred percent sure, Brand. He has cost me many priceless fortunes that can never be compensated. So, I want to watch him die in the pool of his own sins." Replies Anna. "Very well, then let's go and get done with this last job so we can finally have some time for ourselves." He says taking his own gun though we're going to our warehouse where we have a collection of in our armory yet we can't go in public without safety measures.

Ann laughed out loud and turned to Adam with a triumphant smile on her face. "Perfect. Oh my goddess, Eva... you're amazing..." Ann cackled loudly, the expression of confusion on Adam's face just making her laugh more. "Yay! I'm so pleased you're happy about it. Not that I didn't think you wouldn't be... but... you know..." She trailed off uncertainly. "Eva, do you have a copy of it?" Ann asked urgently. The last thing she wanted was for this to disappear overnight. "Oh! Yes, of course! I downloaded a copy onto two separate USB sticks. Matteus has one, and I have the other. I thought it would be best if we were smart about it, you know?"

It was as thick as a dictionary and soaked with dried blood. “This is everything I gathered. All the smuggling networks, informant lists, and money trails in South America,” Anna said, meeting my eyes, her voice ringing with conviction. “This is my tribute. My proof that I’ve earned my place.” I opened the blood-soaked ledger. The pages were filled with dense, handwritten notes, each one a testament to unimaginable brutality. I closed the book and looked up at the reborn warrior before me. The selfish girl who only knew how to take had died in that motel. Standing here now was a blade forged in fire.

The name on the screen made her smile disappear. Elias. She opened the message. Natasha, the Level Omega archives are ready. There was another line beneath it. I found something connected to your name. Natasha read it twice. Aaron noticed the change in her expression. “What is it?” She slowly lifted her eyes to him. “The archives,” she said. “It’s your choice.” She tapped the icon. The screen loaded. Then displayed thousands of encrypted folders. Financial records. Government agreements. Corporate ownership. Private communications. Names. Dates. Evidence. Everything. Alexander let out a low whistle. “So…” “The Archive isn’t gone.” Vivienne smiled. “It simply has a new home.” Aurora quickly locked the screen. “It stays that way.” Lucien looked at her proudly. “You’ve already made your first decision.” She nodded. “I won’t let this become another weapon.”
