She was working on her first novel, which contained a romance between a Lycan and a human. She loved writing fantasy and paranormal romance, the werewolf story being the first novel in a series she had plotted out over the summer. She was writing the last few chapters and looking forward to completing her first manuscript.

No birds flew overhead. No waves touched the sand. Even the abandoned books had stopped whispering. Adrian took another step. The Pen of Beginnings grew warmer in his hand. Writing was her outlet, and during her dark days, she succumbed to it and wrote until her pen bled. She never thought people would love it, although fiction and way far from their “reality”. She doesn’t even know what hooked them to the book. It was all so... surreal.

She had read many in a lot of books, and she knew that the best way to beat a curse was to study it. Roxanne could feel a smile forming on her face as a memory came unbidden to her. It was when Lord Alex had gotten Annabelle her first book, and Annabelle had in turn gifted it to her. She would read the books and narrate to Annabelle, who would in turn narrate back to her father and teachers, and get more books because of how fast she was learning. The trick had worked for a while, at least until Lord Alex had finally discovered it and started asking his daughter personal questions.

But it could be closed off to a walking distance if she'll wake up early and also began her walking journey early. Over the years, Anne doesn't seemed to mind being late. Truthfully, Anne doesn't mind 'every thing' for she deemed them as unimportant. What mattered to her was survival against the odds, against her head, the creatures dwelling on it. The battles no one had witnessed that made her who she was.
