The image was a scar on her mind, the sounds a constant echo in her nightmares. That night, Annabelle decided she would never spend another New Year’s at home. He handed her the book and proposed, "You start." They got comfortable on the couch, and Anna began to read the story. At first, it was the usual exciting tale of a girl meeting a beautiful man, but as the pages turned, it became sensual.

She admired the colours each one had and how each presented itself with a unique quirk. Noticing one that seemed to have worn off more than the rest she pulled it out of the rack. Flipping it over to see its cover she smiled at the title written in bold letters the words read Greensburrow. It was a children's book about a young boy and girl who arrived at an orphanage together and became good friends. The girl, Anna was an adventurous soul who would often get herself in trouble but had Eliot, the boy always there to save her.

“Everything started with two girls who lived in the real world.” It began in the 19th century. The time when machines began to rise, gangs and crimes peaked. In this century were two girls who were born in the royalty and privileged. One, a perfect girl who had mysterious powers beyond imagination. And the second one, a perfectly normal girl with no powers at all. The first girl was named Anne. She was the favored one, the special, and loved by everyone in town. While the other normal girl was named, Adreanna. She wasn’t much to notice for, she was normal after all.

I didn’t hesitate. I pulled Fifty Shades of Grey first (cliché, yes, but I needed an entry point), then The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty by Anne Rice, Story of O, a slim volume called The New Topping Book just to balance it out, and two anthologies with titles like Bound Hearts and Surrender to Me. The stack felt heavy in my arms, like contraband. I carried them to the my corner and hid them under the table. I sat down, and opened the first book.

Outside, Anne sat by the bus window, watching the city blur past, buildings, lights, strangers. There was no pain left. Only silence. She closed her eyes, letting the sunlight touch her cheek, and smiled faintly. From this day on, her life would begin anew—no longer as Mrs. Edric Raymond, but simply as Anne. A girl with no family, no home, and nothing left to lose.

No matter how well the author wrote, it couldn’t cover up some essential problems. Actually, Arrianne’s character is a bit pity but annoying at the same time. She is idiot, gullible, have no self awareness, a pessimist and a weak woman and she hated that character that’s why she personally wrote a letter like novel (a very long letter) to the publisher complaining about the character and she put her actual name to shows her annoyance. From what she remembered to Arrianne’s character was that she was an orphaned but later a strange man approach her and said that she was his granddaughter in her mother’s side and that they were looking for her for a long time.

LILLIANA I was told that my mother often indulged herself in reading, sometimes dousing the long hours of the day as she drew her solace from it. Being the wife of a mafia wasn’t easy. Little information about her marital relation with my father, Dante Moretti, was given to me. The title of the novel perfectly depicts the story. The novel as everyone knows, is on the life of Elizabeth Bennett and her family. She was courted both by Mr Collins and Mr Darcy who she initially turned down. She turned down Mr Collins

I reached into the bag I had brought with me and pulled out a book, a favorite from when I was much younger: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
