The Betrayed Ex-wife's Revenge
I stepped forward, dug my hand into the inner pocket of my suit, and pulled out an invitation card before handing it to her.
She took it, and her eyes lingered on me in suspicion. "A wedding invitation?" she asked before she looked at it.
I laughed and shook my head again. "No, not yet. It's the anniversary of the Plane enterprise, and that's your formal invitation."
She glanced back at me, and curiosity lingered in her eyes. "You could have sent it via email or, better yet, called, and I would have come to pick it up."
I knew that, too, but for some weird reason, I just wanted to deliver it myself.
