I didn’t know where the other two were. “It’s time to choose.” Cornelius forcibly grabbed Agnes and shoved her aside. Agnes fell to the ground and looked up at him, glaring. He turned his back on her, his attention on me. I could see Agnes looking at me. When I caught her eye, she smiled and then, with a pop, she disappeared. I glared at Cornelius. He grabbed at the baby by my side, and I twisted my body to cover the pup. Cornelius’s hand raked painfully across my hip. “Where are the other two?” he shouted at me.

PENELOPE'S POV~ The entire place fell silent as I cautiously placed my hands on the head of the lifeless boy. Within moments, a vivid scene began to unfold before everyone's eyes like a play on a stage, unveiling the events that had transpired prior to the boy's untimely demise. A faint image of a girl started to take shape, becoming clearer by the second. The scene revealed her stealthy movements as she navigated through the shadowy dungeon. Upon reaching the gate, she produced a mysterious liquid from her cloak, carefully pouring it onto the iron bars.

"Why don't you let me explain, Ms. Star." Everyone stands and bows at the man speaking behind me. “Is this the young woman you were mentioning to me earlier?” There is something familiar about his voice. “Yes, Gideon,” Antigone speaks up, her ebony skin sparkling in the overhead lights. “This is Slone’s friend, Rosalynd.” “Rosalynd" His arrogant voice hisses, rolling my name around on his tongue as if it were poisonous candy, both sweet and dangerous. So that’s your name.

“I actually saw two different scenes, but you were in the second one.” She picked up her slice of pound cake and leaned back in her chair. She took a small bite and nodded as a way to tell me to continue. “The first scene was a group of people outside the prison, and I saw who Kroll was.” I paused to gather my thoughts, but I refused to look up at Brigid’s face. I knew if I looked at her face and gazed at the scars that littered her skin, I wouldn’t be able to say the second part. “The second part was the night Hades marked Leto.”

As Juliet pushed the door open, her gaze fell upon a terrifying scene, a man, his hands wrapped around the lifeless legs of a woman, shoving her body beneath the bed. The grim scene left little doubt, he had taken her life and was now attempting to conceal the evidence. His head snapped up, eyes locking onto Juliet's and she found herself face to face with a cold, merciless expression that seemed to freeze the blood in her veins. Panicked, she spun around, desperate to escape the horror she had just witnessed. She needed to flee this room, to leave behind any trace of the nightmare unfolding before her.

As she returned her gaze to the onlooking crowd, she heard Knox’s footsteps behind her as he walked u;p to the second executioner. “The execution will still hold. Carry on.” he instructed the second executioner and he nodded. He swiftly picked up the blade that was to be used and stepped forward, stationing himself in front of Zena. Kylian and Knox then proceeded to leave the centre if the field, returning back to where they previously were standing beside their father. As they made their way out, Kylian had briefly turned his head around ,for a moment and his gaze interssected with Zena’s—only for a fleeting moment.

Noticing Circe hesitated, Antigonus opened his eyes and said frustratedly, "Quick, do it! I have no regrets about dying by you. Don't hesitate anymore." Hearing that, Circe's body trembled. She bit her lips tightly, and deep down, she felt perplexed, but when she thought of her father's tragic death, she subconsciously picked up the longsword from the ground. Then, Circe gritted her teeth, gripped the longsword tightly, and pierced toward Antigonus' chest. As Circe stretched out the sword, she felt entangled, and her hands could not stop shaking. However, Antigonus smiled and looked at her quietly, not intending to hide.

Blood ran down one arm, but she did not slow. Ayame. Alive. Terrified. Magnificent. She lifted both hands. Water exploded from the floor. Vampires flew into the pillars. The dagger left Orochi’s grip. Ren dropped and crawled toward the crowd. Ayame’s eyes found mine. Everything else vanished. She took one step toward me. An arrow pierced her shoulder. Her body twisted. I roared. The sound shook the pillars. My chains snapped. Scene 12: The Drowned Queen I rose with broken iron hanging from my wrists.

The blood drained from Angeline’s face, leaving her like a single-winged moth that was unable to spread its wings and fly, destined to wither away. “Where’s your brother?” Angeline asked again, her voice too low to hear the anger within. Josephine struggled out of Zayne’s grasp. However, Zayne only tightened his arms in response. Like a ruthless executioner, Zayne showed no hits of letting go until Josephine breathed her last breath. Slowly, Angeline stood. Her eyes fell on the flames before them. Without notice, she ran toward the fire. Zayne and the rest felt their hearts jump. They only relaxed slightly when Grayson quickly dashed after Angeline to hold her back.

Gina and Lizzy chorused. " I don't know but hes not moving nor breathing !” She stuttered. " What?” Lizzy exclaimed as she sped after Gina who had already dashed out ahead of them. "Oh my God– this is not happening.” She mumbled on with a pale and tensed gaze as she hurried through the corridors towards Antonio's room. Her mind felt totally blank. ANTONIO'S ROOM Gina and Lizzy dashed into the room, followed by Agnes. They instinctively pauseded at the door the sight of Antonio's lifeless, pale body on the bed. Gina slowly paced towards the bed, her throat choked up with tears and her breath felt heavy.
