A surge of energy, thick and terrifying, suddenly consumed me, moving through me, causing me to shake uncontrollably. “Azriel…” I called out to him to help me like I had the right, but then I noticed he also started shaking uncontrollably. “What the hell is happening now?” His voice came out in stutters, too shaken to speak coherently. “I don't…I don't know…this isn't part of the symptoms…I've never heard of such a thing before…” As I spoke, whatever was moving through me moved through my body, all the way to my throat and out of my mouth.

The anxiety attack crested hard and fast—years of pressure, loss, love, and fear all crashing together in one public, humiliating wave. Callan was moving before I even realized I was falling apart. JAMES. “Chloe ,” I said with a trembling voice while holding her shaking body in my arms. She suddenly had a panic attack after looking at something on her phone. It had been 5 minutes and she’s still shaking. Each jerk of her body sending pangs to my chest. Why was she like this? I laid her on the bed and hugged her tightly, trailing soft kisses on her body and whispering sweet nothings into her ear to calm her down. It seemed to work as she had finally stopped shaking but was still unconscious with beads of sweat on her forehead.

I groaned, running my fingers through my hair in frustration. To my shock, my hands started trembling uncontrollably, even as I tried to clench them into fists. "What’s happening to me?" My hands felt numb like a mannequin as I watched the light traffic, felt wind blow my hair and watched people hurry home. My breaths were now laboured and quick as if I had participated in some race. Why was I shaking. I wiggled my fingers to make sure I could still control them and run my hands through my pockets looking fir any razor or anything sharp. One small cut, no two and the whole lot of problems would go away and make me feel better.

My legs tremble uncontrollably. “Make it stop!” I howl. Tears stream down my face. Hot. Unstoppable. I looked at Drake again. Desperate. Confused. Afraid. “Drake… please…” My voice cracks. Barely there. ”you will be fine trust me” his hands held on tight to mine I can’t focus anymore. Everything is slipping. My body convulses again, harder. Stronger.
