I relaxed, he whispered in my ear and the tension returned. ‘Here or on the stairs inside?’ ‘Neither! Inanna, the goddess of risk-taking, is finished, at least for the time being, taking risks. That last moment on the Northern Line was quite a shock.’ ‘A moment we’ll neither of us forget.’ ‘I still shudder when I think of it.’ ‘So, who is it now?’ ‘My mentor says it is to be Aphrodite.’ ‘Venus to the Romans. I love Venus - the supersensual one. Do you live on the top floor?’

“I’m sure y’all have heard the stories about Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and her son Cupid. They could spread love, but, also, lust or obsession.” Robert leaned his elbows on the bar and rubbed his forehead. “The lust and obsession part became a problem because of Aphrodite’s jealousy, spite fullness, whatever you want to call it,” Rolling his eyes skyward and waving a hand, he continued, “and her son’s willingness to please his mother. It created a problem with the other Gods. Then all hell broke loose when Hera found out Zeus was letting them off the hook because Cupid was using lust on humans Zeus found attractive a few t

But Allison just approached slowly, her eyes fixated on the picture as if it had a hold over her. “This is of the Silver Saintess, Ariadne,” she said quietly. “…The false prophet who walked amongst us one hundred years ago. She was a creature who declared themselves an embodiment of the Goddess, and yet saw to bend the world to her will. A world in the image of her insanity.” Her eyes then finally snapped back to my own, showing me the hatred burning within them. “She was an evil that has never been forgotten… A Devil of the Mist.”

I slowly sat on the white sand and watched the lady still standing to where I left her. I am waiting anxiously by the shore. Did my plan work? Christ! This is killing me. My heart is pounding really fast! I couldn't stand waiting for her like this! I swear I was praying then, she moved towards the seashore, towards me. Thank God! I did it! What a relief! She stood directly in front of me. I raised my head to face her and with that I smirked. " What can I do for you, goddess?” Oh yes! It's true! She's a beauty! She must be Venus if she was ever real. "Oh, shut up! Stop making fun of me will you?!" she mumbled pouting her lips like a baby before sitting right beside me. I could feel my heart

Master made sure I was well versed in literature, poetry, music, arts and dance. Master kept me indoors until I was thirteen years old, before he began hosting concerts and big dinner parties where he charged royals and demanded gold coins and expensive jewellery for them to catch a glimpse of me. I was not allowed to converse with any person and to be honest, I do not believe that I can because when I enter a place, everyone hushes and mumbles my name of Aphrodite. That is the name my master has given me, Aphrodite. One of my teacher's told me about Aphrodite and how she was the Greek Goddess of

He was right, I had to be strong because if I get weak I wouldn't be able to have my revenge on those five monsters. I gulped down the whole soup and he smiled lightly. "T-thank you". I muttered and he nodded. "What's your name little one?". He asked. "My name is Amphitrite". I whispered hoarsely. "Your name is very unusual. Who gave you that name?". He asked curiously. "My mommy and daddy gave it to me". I mumbled. "What does it mean?". He asked curiously. "Queen of the sea". I replied hoarsely.

Romantic! I admired them before reading the little white card that was tucked between two roses."For my Maid of Honour."I smiled, but that quickly turned to a sigh. At least I can always rely on Carmen to get me flowers. It's sweet of her. Mason walked out of the master suite holding Penelope."Who are they from?" "From a secret admirer. Are you jealous?"I joked. "No, I'm not jealous. I've no reason to be."He put Penelope down and picked up a suitcase. "Whoever they're from they clearly don't know you."

Arthur giggles hearing me say that. “I should’ve known that you won’t satisfied with me. I am the one who is missing you, I really want you to get back and pay your losing bet” he laughs so hard and I throw a pillow at him. I was hoping he’ll forget about that bet. A day after arrived in this village, he and I made a bet about who will be the first to be involved in the love affair here, at that time I held Kathy's name, while Arthur held Anneth. And now it was clear that it was Anneth who had a chance to have a scandal with Dave. My defeat required me to accept all of Arthur's orders for 3 days. I don't think it's going to be difficult, considering that Arthur also always wakes up at 1 pm s

She kindly exams my features. “Where are we, Moon Goddess?” I look around, only this time that floating sensation is gone. “Please, call me Selene or Ártemis.” She smiles. “Ártemis?” I questioned feeling like I had already heard that name. “And you’re right. You’ve already heard this name.” She confirms my suspicion. “I’m known for your kind as Selene, the Moon Goddess. But for millennia I was known as Artemis, the goddess of the moon and hunting.”
