The full moon sat in the sky; it was the night. It was the night of the Oracle Ceremony, and the town was alive. Everyone was getting ready, everyone was preparing for the event that only came around once a year. The alpha and Luna were going to be there, not because they needed mates, but because they were the leaders of the pack, and they needed to be there to show support. Apollo quickly shook Eleena's lifeless body, trying to wake her but it's useless. Hermes is also on the edge because he knows what will happen now to Eleena's soul. "We need to go to Hades's world now, Apollo. We need to find Eleena's soul as as soon as possible." Apollo sensed Hermes's distress so he scooped Eleena in his arms and put her in her room.

Apollo, the Sun God, stood on a plateau of blazing light, the heat and intensity of the sun's core muted by his divine presence. He gazed across the golden expanse, where Jolene, his radiant fiancée, played with their children. The god Helios was radiant, and there was nothing depressing about him. "Well, you are right," god Helios said with a bright smile that seemed blinding. "She asked me, Selene. Now don't tell me you're jealous your servant thinks I'm perfect?" His eyes twinkled.

Caleb shifts, leaning against the large desk. “I found out Helios goes by another name. Phaethon meaning the shining. His power is light. My guess is whatever power he will bestow will be to do with the sun. Light and heat. There is a chance that silver will be less effective if wolves aligned with Helios. Your shadows won’t work if that’s the case,” Caleb turns to Sabastian, then to which my mate frowns. Part of me wonders if we rely too much on our gifts when we actually just need to be smart about this.

Apollo grit his teeth in anger yet his rival would not have an answer for him. “My apologies,” Horus stated cooly and pushed his sickle forward, bringing with him great power that pushed away Apollo’s light. “This fool!” Apollo raged, forcing every bit of power from his Godspark. His eyes lit up brightly as his domain was activated, causing the battlefield to be enveloped with the power of the sun. Darkness was swept away and the moon was forced to embrace light once again as Apollo clashed with Horus, causing the planet to quake and groan, for it was not a higher world created to withstand this level of power.

The horses skid to a halt at her command, making a plume of dust billow in the air. Selene steps off the chariot and faces Aphrodite. She raises her staff over her head and slams it to the ground. It creates a sonic boom, instantly turning day to night. The crescent moon on top of the staff catches fire, turning it into a torch with a hot white flame. The shadows created by the light obscure Aphrodite’s features, turning her into a grotesque caricature of her distinctive, beautiful self. Her smug smile fades and turns into a curled lip at the sight of my mother.

Poseidon was the king of sea and Hades was assigned as a lord of underground. The first of the divines formed from the mere dust resembled other celestial beings like sun, earth, moon and stars. Luna, goddess of the moon, truly represented the moon itself. Although the ancients considered Hecate and Artemis counted as lunar goddesses, only Luna was the moon itself. She is said to have driven the moon chariot. This heavenly vehicle got its power from white horses. It drove across the sky, providing the night with its light. The identity of the moon goddess morphed countless times with the time but she as well as Hecate and Proserpina were triune goddesses.
