It made her shriek dropping all apples on the floor. Miles climbed down from the tree, giving Angela a confused look before picking the apples back up. “Do not eat those apples.” The words of the strange evil voice made Miles drop the apples in fear. Angela walked closer to Miles, holding and squeezing his hand. “Let us get out of here,” Angela said as Miles agreed immediately. They were about to make a run for it but something appeared making both of them scream like people that had just seen ghosts. The scream was so loud, Justin and Kale heard it from where they were.

*Axel* It is taking everything in me not to laugh at her reaction. Is it wrong to convince her that werechickens are a thing? Maybe, but it’s entertaining, so I’m not sure I care very much. She is clinging to my arm, looking around like a kid being led through a horror house. I sneak a peek at her scared face and I have to mentally slap myself out of the attraction.

His sudden question paused her feet. “As you know….you might never return from those woods,” Jared smirked, trying to scare her. Jake looked at Jared. He had no idea what his Alpha had been trying to do. He had never seen Jared behaving so desperately. “I hope…I won't ever return back from those woods,” and the second those words came out of her mouth, Jared's smirk fell from his face completely. His jaw clenched. Without even passing him a single glance, she walked out of that place, not knowing what dread this night was going to show her.

Alpha Jack roared at both of his children who were still fighting. There was a moment of silence. "Dad's right. I'm sorry, Sammy. I'm just scared for you." Troy mumbled. "I'm sorry too. I didn't want you to worry and I guess that was hoping that it was some sort of practical joke or something." She said in a small voice. "Where are the notes now?" I asked in a calm voice. "I had her go get them as soon as she told us about them." Alpha Jack said. "Is there any scent or anything on them?" I asked.

Dahlia pov It all happened so fast. Alec and I were talking outside, then we heard a monstrous scream. I could see alec look at me, and I knew he was gonna do something to stop me from going. So instead I just ran toward the scream. And of course, he followed. He had to. Unless he wanted to get killed by Ajax or Jasper for letting me go, I stopped suddenly, looking in front of me was a little girl, about 6 years old, staring blankly at the scene in front of her.

I deserved it. What rang louder in my ears was the voice of Alpha Jax. "What on earth were you thinking?!" He screamed, furious. For the first time, I saw something I had never seen in his eyes; fear. Alpha Jax was never scared, he never panicked. That's the Alpha I heard about, the one I also knew. Yet right there and then, when I could not make sense of anything, with the early fog of tears denying me a proper view, I could see that he was nothing short of terrified. All that became more visible when I blinked away the tears.

He was scared but the words seem too heavy to be kept to himself. “Assistant Jake! You better open that big and talkative mouth of yours and tell me that you are so scared about or consider yourself fired!!!”, Alexander threatened him. “Alexander!”, Jake exclaimed in panic m. “Boss! The boy…I mean Miss Alice Jet’s son looks very much like you and he also looks to be at the same age as the hacker! Their hair is even similar!”, Assistant Jake dropped the bomb and covered his mouth with his hand whilst Alexander stood rooted on the ground. He thought the boy looked familiar to him but he didn’t know he was that familiar. “What?…..”

She heard Kingston suddenly asked. “Arrgh!!!!” Alice let out a scream and jumped on him, and they both fell on the bed. Alice held him so tightly as if she was dying. Kingston who was making a call hung up immediately, still looking at her confused as fuck. Alice was still on top of him. ‘Is she scared of spiders?’ He thought to himself. “Hey, hey,” He tapped her shoulders but she didn’t let go. “Please take it away,” she muttered, burying her face more into his chest. “What?” “Spider, it’s scary,” Alice replied.

CARLY WOODS POV Fear. That's what I felt as I lay curled up in a fetal position for the remainder of the day. When the morning rolled by, Alice brought a breakfast tray that contained a small stack of pancakes, fresh strawberries, maple syrup, and a glass of juice. Finishing my food, I said my thanks which she responded with a sad smile. After that incident, Alice tried being friendly with me which I didn't appreciate. I didn't want her pity or anyone else for that.
