I’m just trying to figure out if you’ve been possessed or if this is some kind of witch thing I should be worried about.” “It’s neither!” I snapped, shoving the pickle and jar behind me like that would erase his memory. He smirked, leaning casually against the counter. “You sure about that? Because last week you cried over a squirrel crossing the road, and now you’re eating... that.”

He says a little amused. As terrifying as Alpha Jackson was, sitting across the table from me, staring at me with such an intense stare, I couldn't help but keep stealing little peaks at him. He had a scar down the right side of his face, that made him look scarier, but to me it also enhanced his looks with his shoulder length curly brown hair and brown goatee. I have to admit, he was very handsome. But his personality and demeanor made me wonder if he had all these girls' back home waiting for him or if he was just too scary for any of them to approach.

Alyssa was fairly certain that she was as far away from okay as a girl could be, so she did what anyone would do and nodded. That’s when spots began to appear in her vision. Scott gently pulled her to him, wrapping her in his arms without hurting her. At the same time, she reached out for me and taking her hand, I held it. I felt her small fingers turn to sharp claws, piercing against the tender skin of my hand. But I watched her; she didn’t fully turn. Not yet. Even with the fear, she was managing it with us beside her.

I asked him since he looks so frightened. Then I looked at Alison, and she must've sensed something unusual. "There... Umm... They... Someone… Two… " He stuttered and could not complete his sentence. "Alright, calm down, Al. Breathe in and breathe out." My wife comforted the scared child, and he seemed calmer now. "They... stole… They stole... our… apples." He trembled, and that made me curious. Who might steal apples from the fridge? His sister? Burglars?

I asked as I tried to pull away from him, but the hair on my neck stood and it suddenly felt like I was in some weird horror movie. I eventually pulled away from him and slammed him into the wall, I struggled to breathe as I stared at his distressed form. “I- I didn’t want it to go this far, I promise Danielle, This wasn’t the plan.” He expressed in a sorrowful tone. “What’s going on?” I whispered with my hand over my chest, I was still struggling to deal with how weird this whole situation was, and most importantly. How he got in. Silence reigned for a few seconds before Jared licked his lips and locked eyes with me “Alice is going to kill all of us.” He whispered in a dangerous tone.
