I go to my knees and look under the bed. Beneath the bed, I see a dark brown and black amulet shining at me, waiting for me to take it home. There is also a set of eyeballs looking at me.

Can someone wake me up from this nightmare already?. What's with all these talks about powers? "I know this must all sound strange to you. But you will understand everything soon." "I don't even know what to call you. I mean from your voice, I know you are female. But a female what exactly? Who are you and what's your name?" Maybe we could start there. "My name is Lily. I am your spirit guide and I'm so happy to find out you are alive little princess. We all thought you were dead"

To be fully protected by The Arc, the room must be fully enclosed. The Arc is common in Elenio and can be obtained easily. The government produces The Arc through one of the Archturian divisions and distributes it throughout Elenio. The Arc has almost the same energy as the sun, which prevents Draconians from entering the places that The Arc has given them. So there’s no way this place doesn’t have The Arc due to the difficulty of getting one. Unless they purposely didn’t install it because they wanted to die. “Tonight we will prove it.”

he murmurs, holding something wrapped in protective cloth. I blink at him. “You okay?” He shrugs. “Could ask you the same thing.” I manage a broken laugh. “Fair.” Lucien sits beside me and unfolds the cloth. Inside are old scrolls, the edges crumbling like dried leaves. “I found these in one of the sealed cabinets behind the ceremonial armor. They’re from our mother’s side. Look.” He points to an elegant signature on one of the scrolls. Mavilla of the Celestial Howl. My breath catches in my throat.
