Atalante told her. Ariana tried to sort out the numbers in her head. If she really understood correctly, Atalante was over two hundred years old, but even Marcus’s grandfather didn’t live that long. No Lycan she had ever heard of lived more than a hundred and fifty years. And the last Lycan she knew that lived this long died over tens, maybe hundreds of years ago. “You’re old.” The words escaped Ariana without thinking. She immediately bowed and apologized, but it didn’t go well with Atalante. Atalante laughed.
