His fingers flew to the lock of the power shield around my neck, working desperately to unlock it. The power shield let out a dying hiss before snapping open, clattering onto the rug. Miguel quickly sliced through the ropes binding my wrists with a small hunting blade, freeing my hands. “Get up, brother!” Miguel urged, his hazel eyes wide with terror as he braced his twisted leg against the floorboards. “You have to stop this!” As the remnants of the Lycan powers violently exploded back into my blood, I scrambled off the floor. Aaron had already regained his balance, staring coldly at me as he raised the knife a second time. I closed the distance between us, my hand shooting forward to grab

Chapter 1 Aria "I, Lucas Miller, future Alpha of the Silver Moon Pack, reject you, Aria Vale, as my mate." The words hung in the air, heavier than stone. I didn't scream. I didn't cry. I just stood there, paralyzed, feeling something deep inside my chest snap. That wasn't a just a metaphor. It really felt like a physical wire was cut In me, a sharp, stinging snap that burned through my veins and left me cold.

Jayce snarled, the vein in his temple pulsing lightly as his anger meter started to rise. "Lily is my Mate, and that is final. There is nothing left to discuss." Jayce rose up from his seat, "Leave my city. Go back to your pack where you should be." Jayce growled deeply before leaving the room. Derek ran a hand through his hair. There was no getting through to Jayce. He still had one more option. ----------

He then proceeds to drag me up to the make shift stage that was set up for tonight. "How the fuck can the Moon Goddess give me a piece of shit mate like you, I deserve so much better than you. You are unworthy to be my Luna and be the Alpha heir to this pack. I will take a chosen mate before I accept you. I already have my chosen mate decided as she has been my girlfriend for 3 years now. April is 10x the she wolf you'll ever be and she's the Beta's daughter of my pack. I, Alpha Jayce Aaron Blackmist, reject you Alpha Serenity Sage Nightshade as my mate and future Luna. I accept April Raye Jones as my chosen mate and Luna." Jayce sneers at me while he rejects me. Intense pain cuts through me

"For the sake of the pack." Ava looked up at him, confused, still clinging to a hope she hadn't yet been given reason to release. I turned to my father. I held his gaze for one long moment. Then I nodded. I reached out and took her hand. Her fingers were cold. She didn't pull away — she trusted me, even now, even still. That made it worse. “Forgive me,” l I said silently to Jax. He howled. "I, Alpha Jackson Edgar —" my voice was steady, even as something inside me broke, "— reject you, Ava Wellington, as my mate."

, Valentina says. ⁑“And the other does a single.”, I say back.⁑ We didn’t realize that we mumbled, but I felt their eyes on me so I speak, “What if Valentina does the vampweredragon while Kevin does a werewolf.” “And Jay can do a vampirewere, while Christian does a dragon one, which then leaves Faye to do a weredragon.”, Valentina finishes.

“Let’s end this.” Jessica dug deep and fulfilled her predestined role as the offspring of an Original Vampire and a Witch. Next to her, the others fell in: Kade harnessing his Alpha power, Lucas flicking his blade with deadly speed, Selene casting spells faster than an eye could see. Bryan even pitched in, his ghostly shape flitting through the melee to confuse enemies’ attacks. For a second, it seemed like they could actually compete. Then, all at once, the vortex collapsed in.

"Why didn't we feel it before? Why did we have Ryker and Jayce?" "That was our first actual heat. Jayce was the result of our first mating with our true mate and Ryker was the result of the silver and the fact that both Cara and I were too weak to protect you from that Alpha's seed. If we had been at full strength, then he would not be here." Just as I finish talking to Ruth, I hear Soren's voice along the mate bond. It is rough and has a small command etched into it. It makes me shiver

“Move so I may see my granddaughter, she is all I have left aside from you.” “No,” Jayden growled. “I trust no one.” “Well you better trust me, otherwise you will die today.” He spat. “Well see old man, I’ve had my share of fighting, and I am keen to killing you today.” He growled. “Enough!” Jade growled. “Dad relax I don’t think he will hurt me.” She said side stepping and walking closer so she could see Viktor. “Now my dad is right, we’re here to unite the realms we’re tired of the lockdowns.”
