“He summons you.” I take the scroll. ‘It's about time.’ The words echo in my head as blurry, fragmented images flash through my mind. The only thing I can make out clearly is Angel. She is fully transformed, looking much more like an ancient, powerful creature than a human. She wears a dark, imposing crown upon her head, and I am standing beside her, kissing her deeply. I blink, the hallway coming back into focus. Did I just catch a glimpse of our future?

She was beckoning me to stand. “I’m sorry - do I know you?” I asked her as I pushed up off from the grass. She shook her head, “No, not really. But I know you.” That made me raise my brow. What did that mean? “I don’t mean to startle you..” she said, brushing imaginary dirt off the skirt of her dress. “I’ll introduce myself. I am the Archangel, Aurora.” Huge white wings unfurled behind her as if in emphasis.

He may not hold any power over the godly actions taken by the Angels unless and until asked to do so. May lord give you his blessings." The announcer yelled out for everyone to hear. Laurent stood at the side clad in white, looking straight ahead, his yellow-green eyes cold as ice and hands wound behind his back like a soldier. His head held up, proud.

Never forget the boundary between good and evil just because you started to frolic with a pathetic zombie!” This action of the arch angel earned him a deep frown from Damon who remained as a third party not until he could tell that he needed to meddle between two angels. The moment the leader of the arch angels was about to raise his hand again for a second slap against the apprentice angel, Damon decided that it was the right time step forward. On cue, Damon stepped in between the father and son as he caught the arch angel’s wrist. A pair of dark blue eyes and ruby red ones met halfway.

The original peace treaty still lay in the position it had millenniums beforehand, untouched by visitors. Dusty pages flipped silently. Words flew threw his mind at inhuman speed. He had been reading about the unwritten rule of pureblood angels. These angels were to only be royalty, however it came with a deadly price. Many of these newborns were ticking time bombs of anguish and destruction, having the power to level entire cities. Some never made it past infancy. This caused a very large shortage in heirs to the throne, with only one child surviving every millennium.
