Revenge of the Sultry Goddess

Revenge of the Sultry Goddess

Idna who was left out of the conversation immediately chimed in and nagged, “You worry too much, Mom. I’ve seen some romance movies and there are really some bosses who fell in love with their assistants or subordinates, especially if they’re pretty just like her. Oh, and many romance novels have that as well.” “Idna, what on earth are you talking about?” Henriella turned her head to the youngest daughter and was taken aback to hear her comment. Instead of waiting for Vanya’s explanation, the mother scolded, “Those romance movies are not real. You should be focused on your study for the final exam instead of watching and reading some made-up romance.” “It’s not fun, Mom,” nagged the youngest

The Mistress Surrogate

The Mistress Surrogate

The whole house was boring and the atmosphere was gloomy, I decided to go into the study, when I was in there with Damon I could recall seeing romance novels on the bookshelf. I am a true lover of romantic novels, they get your spirit high with the sexiness of the male lead and gracefulness of the female but one thing that lacks in all romantic plot is that all are the same, there hasn't been anything new but who cares...... While I checked the bookshelf I notice a couple of erotic novels in there, you should know that I am very happy.

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

"Didn't you ask me to tell you about it?" Daniel broke into a cold sweat. Of all the books she could be reading, she had to pick this one. If one drew a parallel, wouldn't he be the heartless male lead? What if she read on and remembered something from the past... By now, Daniel was sweating all over. "Anyway... romance novels use clichés. They’re all about endless love and stuff. They’re not very meaningful," he said with a forced smile. "You don't plan on writing one too, do you?"

I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.

I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

HOLY HOTS

HOLY HOTS

The book store was right around the corner, enough to let Amy get few minutes of alone time. "what kind of book should I buy? These romantic novels make me feel extremely miserable about my life", she whispered. "Maybe I am on another planet unlike the characters in these books because I have never felt that way about any man before." Truly it was tiring and exhausting reading these books. Apparently, they make her expect things she would never get from Jack, thereby leaving her heart broken.

Abandoned Luna: Now Untouchable

Abandoned Luna: Now Untouchable

Those kisses. The kind that melt your spine and short-circuit your brain. The kind romance novels warn you about because they lead to very bad, very naked decisions. And just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I'd begged him to stay. Like, stay-stay. Like, "make bad decisions with me" stay. And he had. With his hands. With his mouth. I face-planted into the pillow and groaned like a dying animal. My soul was trying to exit my body out of sheer secondhand embarrassment.

Love Unbreakable

Leandro looked at her and raised an eyebrow, "Well then, I'll ask Melvin!" Seeing him about to call Melvin with his phone, Charlotte quickly pressed his hand and said, "I know!" Leandro glanced at his hand being held down, enjoying the soft touch, but unfortunately the other person quickly withdrew it. Charlotte sat back down, her face serious, and began to explain in a serious and informative tone, "Because there are often 'clean up the internet' campaigns online, some online literature encourages authors to avoid including overly intimate content in their novels. And due to the strict regulations on internet content, online authors jokingly refer to writing romance novels as 'not being abl

Hunky Daddies For An Innocent Lady

Hunky Daddies For An Innocent Lady

Caramel had told her they liked to share, but she guessed that was just for sex. Nothing more. She’d been reading way too many ménage and reverse harem romances. That sort of thing just didn’t happen in real life and she knew it. “Elle? Stay with me, sweetheart.” “I know you wouldn’t hurt me,” she blurted out. God, why couldn’t she stay focused? “Sorry. I just . . . had my mind on other things.” She waved a hand over at the computer screen. Frowning, he glanced at the screen. “Christ, why are you reading that?”

Daddy's Demands

Daddy's Demands

The rest of the class goes by in a blur, and I do my best to focus, but I’m way off my game. My mind is teeming, my body strangely energized, and I make a vow right then and there that I need to stop reading so many damn romance novels. I read one or two a day, fully immersed in the escapism it brings me, and I think they’re getting to my fucking head. I’ve always been a hopeless romantic, but it wasn’t until I hit my senior year in high school I discovered romance. I’ve been a complete addict ever since. But this obsession has not served me well, especially since my particular tastes these days are always the kinky variety involving handcuffs and safewords and dominants.

Surrendering to the Billionaire

Surrendering to the Billionaire

And I didn't help myself either, I constantly fed fears with stories of toxic, manipulative love, how it started always started with flowers and charm, and then, one day, the switch would flip. I promised myself I would never experience that. Romance belonged in stories. Fantasies not real life. Still, I couldn’t deny the memory of his touch. How warm his hand had felt on the small of my back. How perfectly he held me. How one dance ignited sparks across my skin. And my book? It wasn’t helping. The vivid steamy descriptions made me restless, And yet, part of me wasn’t ready to climb out of that mental gutter.

My CEO mate: Divorce made me his

And for a minute, I just sit there, glaring at the ceiling like it owes me rent. Then, I glance to my right. And there it is. The only good thing about today. Devil’s Muse. A thick, absolutely sinful romance novel I pulled from the stack of books Janet got from the hospital library. The kind that has zero shame and maximum plot twists. The kind that doesn’t ask me to heal or forgive myself or do the inner work. No. This book asks me to shut up and watch the enemies-to-lovers pair absolutely ruin each other emotionally and then physically—with very vivid, very illegal levels of detail.
