A Deal With The Billionaire
There are several books scattered everywhere, a painting easel stands in one corner, a half finished artwork leaning against it.
Some books are scattered on the floor, the pages half ripped open. It’s well evident that father hasn’t been here since mother died because of the gathered dust and cobwebs.
“Wow,” Wanda mutters, facing me. “How’re we going to find your mother’s journal? Where would she have kept them?”
My gaze flies to the table, and a smile lit up my face. “Found it.”
It’s a heavy leather bound journal with the pages old, almost crinkled. Hurriedly, I flip it open, it’s her first entry, and her handwriting was elegant. The pages are almost fading.
