The peaceful field suddenly changed and Aria saw blood, fire, dead wolves and burning territories. A massive shadow spreading across the north and at the center of it stood a familiar object. A black book. Its pages moving by themselves and it's presence radiating evil. Aria's eyes widened. "The Dark Grimoire..." The vision vanished immediately as the Moon Goddess looked back at her. "The future is never fixed." Then she smiled again. "But your journey has only begun." The world around Aria shattered into silver light. And suddenly— She was back in the arena before the Moon Stone and back before thousands of stunned wolves.

“You never told me.” She gives me a small, apologetic look. “I wasn’t sure. And I didn’t want to frighten you.” We stop before a shelf tucked away in a shadowed corner. Unlike the others, it’s marked with a faded crescent moon carved into the wood. “This section,” Aria says. “No one touches it.” “Why?” “Because it’s about your kind.” She reaches up and pulls out a thick, weathered book. The cover bears a symbol that makes my breath catch. It has a crescent moon intertwined with claw marks.

I hug him quickly, “I love you.” Dark energy lashed out from Volkava, striking the ground and tearing through stone, forcing Draven back before he surged forward again. He was relentless and I admired that. But I could see the solution—my gaze snapped to the book on the slab. It laid there—just like it was watching. Then, I ran. “Elara—!” Draven shouted and Volkava hit him so hard he dropped to one knee but I didn’t stop because I finally understood why it existed. Why the book of Ancient spells existed.

“You’re not supposed to be here, my lady.” Liora turned and saw a girl holding a stack of books. She looked no older than twenty, her brown hair tied loosely and her apron marked with ink stains. “I didn’t mean to intrude,” Liora said. “I’m looking for old records about the Blood Moon.” The girl hesitated before replying. “Most of those scrolls were hidden after the old Alpha’s death. They said such knowledge brings misfortune.” “I don’t believe that,” Liora said calmly. “Knowledge is not a curse. It’s protection.”

Lira said, scanning the endless shelves, “there’s a volume called ‘Divine Inversions.’ It’s one of the oldest texts on corrupted bindings. Half myth, half manual. I haven’t read it yet; the last archivist sealed it after the war of the twin gods. Thanks to Wendrah we have it here. But if the seal’s still intact, it might hold something useful.” Kael grunted. “So we’re chasing ghost stories now.” “If those ghosts keep you breathing,” Lira snapped, “then yes.” I stepped toward the door. “Get it. Whatever it takes. Bring it to Rayna’s study. Not here.” Rayna’s brow arched. “You’re moving me from the library?” “Until I know every inch of this place is secure, yes.” I glanced toward the high wind

“Could it be…?” Maxime announced, “The whereabouts of the second book have been found.” Tyr’s heart thumped furiously as these words came out. “Senior Belisarius, what kind of book is the second book of wonder, and where is it now?” “The title of the second book is Souleater Grimoire,” Maxime replied. “It is a book that came into the world due to the result of the Thaeria Dynasty's fortune.”

Elara sat across from them, her knees drawn to her chest, her violet eyes flicking constantly to the trees as if expecting them to split open and reveal some horror from the Veil. “We don’t have much time,” Lyra said, emerging from the tent with the Prophetess's book cradled in her arms. The ancient tome was bound in leather that looked far too new for its age, pulsing faintly with heat. She handed it to Aria, her expression carved in stone.

The grimoire turned out to be the largest book Cassandra had ever seen, with pages made of parchment illuminated with tracery, and it was open to a page thickly covered with elegant, intricate writing. To Cassandra, it was the most beautiful handwriting she had ever seen. She felt the urge to trace her fingers over the inked pages. There were pictures of herbs, flowers, roots, and seeds. There were also diagrams and drawings of astronomy. Some of them with suns, moons, and stars, or symbols for the zodiacal constellations: two fish for Pisces, a bull for Taurus, a hunter with a crossbow for Sagittarius, and so on. That alone was enough to unsettle the world. Deep beneath Fiato’s western wing, in a chamber rarely entered and never cleaned, ancient texts shifted upon their own accord. Scrolls written in dead tongues slid millimeters across stone tables. Ink bled subtly into new shapes. Margins filled themselves with symbols that had not existed when the pages were last read. A book bound in pale hide, older than the kingdom itself, trembled once and then fell open. The words rearranged: When the Saviour rises, the text now read, the Goddess will follow.
