Cade leaned in first, his teeth finding the curve of my neck. The bite was sharp, claiming, and when he pulled back, the mark glowed faintly—a crescent moon intertwined with a wolf. River followed, his bite on the opposite side, his mark mirroring Cade's. Then I marked them both—claiming them as mine in front of the council, the pack, the world.

Lillianna cried out unable to help herself. He just imprinted his initials onto her body… He pressed it so hard holding her arm hard so she could not go anywhere.
