Pinunasan ni Yllena ang luha at nanginginig na pumirma. Parang dose-dosenang punyal ang tumarak sa puso niya. Parang kating-kati ito na makasama ang babaeng 'yon? Bumalik si Yllena sa pamilya ngunit ng gabi ding ‘yon ay itinakwil siya. Dahil sa bigat at sakit ng kaniyang kalooban ay huminto siya sa tulay. Bumuhos ang napakalakas ng ulan. Nais na niyang wakasan ang lahat ng biglang may humawak sa kaniyang kamay at sapilitan siyang inilayo sa kamatayan. Hinila siya nito papasok sa kotse. Nuon lang niya namukhaan ang lalaki. “Lucerys?
