The Bane And The Alpha Beast

The Bane And The Alpha Beast

All of them flickered through me, and the power drank deep from each emotion they stirred. I dropped to my knees with a gasp, eyes wide. And still, Ash didn’t let go. “Feel that?” he whispered, crouching beside me. “That’s the real you. Not some little wolf in heat. Not a mate-marked pawn. Not a curse.” He leaned in, brushing his lips against my temple. “That,” he said, “is a goddess being born.”

Blood and Ashes

Blood and Ashes

Hot tears. They burned my red bumpy skin. “Help. Anyone?” My voice was raspy. I didn't only feel fear. I could taste it slithering down my throat. I felt a presence. A strong presence. Superior. Powerful. “Embrace it.” A thick and uneven whispering voice spoke. The ash I tried to scrub off from my body slowly dispersed into the air, forming a ball of thick dark fog. Fiery eyes shone from within the fog. “Embrace it.” It said louder, more austere.

BENEATH HER ASHES

BENEATH HER ASHES

Emily’s Point of View For years I grieved children I thought were buried in ashes . Yesterday the truth did not whisper, it crashed into me like a storm ,my babies are alive. My babies did not perish in the fire ten years ago . The thought alone is enough to glue me to the bed long after the sun has clawed its way into the sky. Golden light streams through the tall windows of my penthouse, catching on the white silk curtains I never bothered to draw shut last night. The room feels too bright, too loud, too alive for a heart that has just relearned how to hope.

OUT OF THE ASHES

OUT OF THE ASHES

So when a Necromancer terrorist group waged war against law-abiding citizens and started wreaking havoc, the Chicago became a shitshow and immediately converted to a worst kind, not even the local normie police could handle. Which meant the best counterattack came not from local human authorities but in the form of government-backed Awakens. “Where the fuck is our cover fire?” Knight Adamson gritted his teeth and raise his hand casting a shield but flinched when magic bullets started raining down at them. He glanced over at his second-in-command and communications and infiltration specialist Sergeant Rina Abello, as she dropped down beside him, magically enhanced AKR-75 assault rifle tightly

Called by the Dragon

Called by the Dragon

But she couldn’t do that anymore. “The abomination was never a Druid, dear one,” Ash continued. “It was why he became so greedy. He was already old when I was young, and he was full of bitterness and envy. That’s why he is the way he is. Because he will never be like us, touched by the gods in the truest of ways, even though he had the favor of the Dragon King for a time. He simply wasn’t worthy.” Gods, worthiness, Druids—all this superstitious magic talk boiled down to one thing for Anzi: Ash could provide no proof that everyone would be safe if she did nothing. And she wouldn’t take that chance.

The plot is thrilling from the start and I had to pace myself to avoid reading through the night. I often wanted to dive into the characters' minds myself to punch some sense into them, proof of how perfectly Mana designed them. This book deserves a thousand stars, not the mere five GN allows.

That was one epic adventure. The world was rich, detailed, full of amazing characters, and the story drew me in its tight grip and never let me go. I am a true fan of this author, it's characters, and it's story line. This was a true experience.

Ashes to Dawn

Ashes to Dawn

GRACE'S POV APRIL 12th, 2013 There was a sound. It came first as a distant ringing, sharp and persistent, like something fighting to pull me back from wherever I had fallen. It cut through the quiet darkness, growing louder, closer, more insistent. “Grace?” “Grace!”

Her Unfated Mate

Her Unfated Mate

Santiago looked around and bent to touch the grown. There were several ashes on the floor, "The gods are being killed and eradicated." Santiago stated. "How did you know that?" "When gods die, they turn to ash as they seize to exist and cannot be reincarnated." Santiago explained. "That is kind of painful" Lisa muttered. "We are now here. So what next?" Leo asked she looked around the place that looked like everything and everyone here has been gotten rid of. "We have to see if there are any surviving gods. And get them to safety" Beatrice

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

DEAR EX, I AM YOUR UNCLE'S MATE

But the creatures were relentless, their sheer numbers overwhelming. “Elijah!” Annabel shouted, her voice cutting through the din. “We need to find Ash. Now!” Elijah nodded, shifting into his hybrid form. Together, they pushed through the chaos, their focus unwavering. They found Ash in the center of the compound, standing before a massive stone altar. Symbols etched into its surface glowed faintly, pulsating with a dark energy. “You’re too late,” Ash said, his smile widening. “The ritual has already begun.”
