ASHINA’S POV The next morning, I stepped out of the tent, stretching my sore muscles from the previous day’s training. The sun was shining brightly over the camp, its golden rays casting a warm glow over the bustling soldiers preparing for another day of rigorous drills. Despite the energy in the air, my mind was still clouded with thoughts of the previous night. I took a slow breath, trying to push away the lingering embarrassment. It was just an accident. A mistake. Yet the memory of the way Alpha Boris had looked at me, his voice deep and confusing, replayed in my head against my will.

Slowly Ash goes away muttering to himself. The next two days fly past; we learn how to fight with swords and to protect ourselves with shields. Then on the last day we go over everything we have learnt. Were both good at different things, Ash is good at hand-to-hand combat and sword fighting. He can also run well but I can keep up with him so we called it even. I’m good at throwing knives and shooting with the bow. This is good because we have a variety of things we can use for protection. While ‘saying goodbye Riley comes out with some gifts

They taught me so many valuable lessons in life and they helped shape me into who I am today. But unfortunately they were killed and Alpha Lucius saved my life which is why I am eternally indebted to him" Asher said as he looked at Luna. "I see", Luna said as she lowered her head. "I have an Idea", Asher said enthusiastically. "Let us be training buddies, I will turn you into a fearsome fighter"

She said. “Savannah. I told the trainer that I will be paired with you today.” Asher said, jogging over to us. “Oh, do you really like me that much?” I asked, teasing him and I could see that his cheeks tinged a little pink as he blushed. And I started laughing. “I’m teasing you.” I said. “Well, I didn’t want you to end up with Paris. And I thought that I could talk you through everything that we’ve already learnt here.” He said.

Alaina POV I’m pretty sure I’m losing my mind! Every couple of days I see Ash. It's usually when I am extremely sad, and seeing him, for the brief moments, has started to bring me some comfort and solace. I have been thinking about my life, how did I end up here? When I left for Spain Fin was amazing, he was THE perfect guy, when I got back, I told him about Ash. I told him we rejected each other, and he seemed so happy. He said that he wanted to give me a little time before we mated and marked each other, and he wanted to give his mate a little extra time, to find him, before he rejected her too. I thought he was being sweet and respectful... but now we can go an entire day, or longer, and

I have been training for a week I suck . I'm trying so hard but I don't feel like I am improving at all. I have bruises all over my body. Asher does not take it easy on me at all. He gets so angry when I don't do what he expects of me. He thinks that I don't even try. All I have been doing is trying.

It's them who ought to be ashamed. We walk arm in arm, just like we used to as kids, weaving through the forest. “I can’t believe you’re leaving me to train with the ass,” I pout, nudging her. Erin snorts. “Wasn’t my idea. Asher insisted. He said he’s taking over and that's that.” She rolls her eyes dramatically laughing, but I shiver training was so much easier with Erin, Asher ... he makes everything harder. I don't even know how to be around him. I bite my lip once more looking at the ground as I feel her tug on my arm.

I wrap my arm around Ashton and he leans on my side. Sorry babe. I link him. It’s okay, I don’t care. It feels good that everyone knows you are mine now. He replies and I kiss his temple. Soon our head warrior Raphael starts barking his orders and we start the training. I feel like I’m faster and stronger. And when I’m sparring with Ashton he is able to submit me for the first time. I notice my dad watching us. He nods his head with a knowing smirk. Ashton will soon outdo me. And I don’t mind one bit. It feels good to know my mate is strong and capable, so I don’t need to worry so much about his safety.

At the Peachmoon pack, Alpha Ash segregated himself from his family only taking care of the pack duties and having nothing to do with his family as well as Gabrielle, Sherlock gave him one week to mourn Livey before he sent Gabrielle to talk to him. She knocked on his door yet he was reluctant to open it. “I just want to talk to you” she said convincing him, he gently opened the door and she stormed in. “What the hell is wrong with you Ash” she yelled, so much for having a talk, he stared coldly at her, sometimes he wondered how someone like her ended up being his mate.
