Alex ordered before sprinting toward the lake. ​Without a second thought, Alex dove into the water and swam rapidly toward the bottom, searching desperately for Scarlett. The darkness and the cold didn't stop him, and finally, he saw a figure: the gorgon Zafira, coiling around Scarlett and squeezing tight, trying to drown her.

Without a word, he shoved the bloodied shirt into my hands, his movements deliberate, his demeanor unshaken. "Rhea is my mate," Atlas declared, his voice edged with an icy finality that sent a shiver down my spine. "Kaida was mocking her—using a whip to hurt her. Nightspire must respect their future Luna, and she blatantly failed to do so." I blinked, the weight of his words sinking in slowly. “She is your what?” My mind scrambled to keep up. Part of me wanted to dismiss it, to believe this was some twisted joke. But one look at Atlas, his unwavering gaze and the steely resolve etched in every line of his face, and I knew. He wasn’t joking.

I replied, I did not want her to have a reason to come to me again. "When the spirit wolf is tired of you, she too will cast you aside. She is not your equal." She stated most crazily. It was as if she had snapped. " Samantha can never be Luna. She is an Alpha, a spirit wolf, a goddess. You aim too high Wildbreed, your fall will be hard and painful. You just wait and see. Enjoy it while it lasts." She said, laughing, kicking and screaming as the delta guards came to take her away. Hilda had completely lost her mind.

She stuck her nose in the air as a wicked smile pulled at her mouth. "If we can get back to the more pressing matter at hand, children. We still have a brother lost in the spirit realm," Dr. Atlas said. "Lukas, on the count of three, I want you to launch yourself as far from the table as possible. We can lose the table if Saint shifts on it." Lukas nodded. Dr. Atlas turned to us three standing in a small group. "Back up as far as possible. I don't want any collateral damage because we weren't cautious enough in our estimations."

His smirk said enough. Atlas rolled his shoulders. “This is a mistake.” “No,” the Hunter replied. “This is overdue.” I didn’t realize I was holding my breath until Talia nudged me. “You okay?” “Peachy,” I said, though my heart was a riot of confusion. What were they to each other? Enemies? Ex-lovers(they were literally acting like one)? Something worse? Atlas stepped into the ring first, his boots crunching the cracked ground. The moment he crossed the glowing runes etched into the stone, something shimmered in the air. A silence spell. Nothing that happened in there would reach beyond it.

Abijah & Lila POV (In the Spirit Realm) I'm hit with the pleasant smell of fresh lavender. I slowly open my eyes and get the uncanny feeling that I am in the Spirit Realm. It looks just like Tanks' Space before he changed it. Sitting up I see this huge lavender colored wolf with bright lavender eyes staring at me! "Lila?" I ask her perplexed and she mindlinks me, "Yes Abijah, how are you? I'm sorry that I was absent for so long, and through your many hardships with the Beta." Her head hung low, closing her eyes and thick tears falling down her furry face.

Alette gave her younger sister a sad look before turning to Atlas and I. “Lina told me you can use spirit magic. She said you have no idea what you’re doing, but you have the potential to learn.” Alette murmured, and I found myself captured by her intense gaze. All of these Water Court children were intimidating, especially with the brightness of their eyes. Alette’s were tinged with just a hint of teal, reminding me of clear Caribbean waters. “No two Fae use magic in the same way, even those who can manipulate spirit. You must not repeat what I tell you, it could cost Adelina her life.”

Another painful surge shot through me and I tightly squeezed Stephens hand. I could feel my consciousness starting to fade and no matter how hard I tried it seemed useless. "Pull from your spirit Alley to strengthen you both" I heard Rose say. I closed my eyes and concentrated on both me and Stephen. I felt the warmness being pulled straight from my core, I let it flow from me to Stephen. When I opened my eyes I took a deep breath noticing everyone had stopped walking. "Are you okay?" Jack asked. It took me a minute to clear the fuzziness out of my head. "I feel fine now." I said Jack slowly placed my feet on the ground and I felt Stephen wrap his arms around me. "What did you do?" He asked

Valen's voice held a note of awe as he whispered, "A spirit of the realm." The spirit emitted a soft, melodic hum, its presence both soothing and electrifying. It seemed to communicate without words, conveying a sense of gratitude and guidance. "It's as if the realm itself is expressing its thanks," Elara murmured, her voice filled with reverence. Elysia extended her hand, allowing the spirit to nuzzle it gently before it melted back into the wilderness, leaving behind an air of mystique.

"I will be visiting him soon enough, it seems Athea has gifted him with spirit.'' Davina stated. I stared at her in shock. Will Apollo have spirit? So I didn't bend the element like I thought I did. It was him. "It was him.." I whispered. "What was him?" Tye asked, standing next to me. "Apollo.. yesterday my nerves were all over the place and I thought that Alley had used spirit on me and she didn't.. He did." I whispered looking down at my belly. "How is that possible? I thought you had to bestow a gift in order for it to work?" Tye asked. "As I told her, Athea has already gifted him, I will make it official when he is old enough." Davina replied. I am stunned.
