“Katerina…” “Please stop” I begged, closing my ears as I looked at Donatello whose eyes met mine. Nathan didn’t dare take a step forward as he saw Donatello approaching me. Carter’s eyes were wide as he processed what he just heard, and shaking my head, I raised my hands, wanting to stop Donatello from approaching me. He cupped my cheeks, wiping my tears from my eyes as he raised my face to look him in the eye, his finger running over my cheek as he did.

"Gather!" No. No way it's over. I have to win. I open my mouth to refute the decision but then Atlas comes to me and takes my hand to shake it firmly. His nose is bleeding, but he's still managing to smile at me. I can't bring myself to smile back at him. I keep wheeling around to check the crowd and see if she's still there. "Good fight, brother," Atlas says. "You okay?" "Yeah," I say absent-mindedly, staring at the spot where I last saw my mate. "I just. . . I saw my. . . ."

I put a peanut in my mouth, chewed mechanically, and swallowed. Dad's eyes bulged. "She ate a peanut? Emily is allergic to peanuts!"

The signal was poor during the thunderstorm, and the computer screen flickered repeatedly, loading slowly as lightning crashed outside. My father impatiently tapped the desk, his jaw clenched tight. "Come on, load already! I'll show everyone what a manipulative little—" The video finally started playing. The timestamp showed it was from just hours ago. The kitchen. Ryan and Stella wrapped around each other. With just one glance at the screen, my mother's face crumpled completely. "My dear Mia! How could you be so foolish!"

My grandma was pleasantly surprised. She came closer to me and held my hands, "this isn't a coincidence my child. I know you eventually have to accept one of them as your mate but for now, you can work with all three of them and get them to put an end to their feud with one other. Once you have achieved that, you can find out who our enemy is." I immediately recalled my encounter with the three awesome men this morning. She nods and smiles. “Yes I do…In fact , I was planning on staying there –“ Andrew chips in. “Do you think they will have place for all of us?” Britney’s face drops , a small ball of guilt starts to form in my chest once more as she withholds something from us. “With all do respect…I was planning on separating from you guys…” every one remains silent , letting her continue explaining. “This fight is not with me – I helped as much as I could and I am glad that we all escaped but…” She lowers her gaze , avoiding eye contact with me.

I was completely sure of it. I gripped the rope and gave it a firm tug. It barely moved. Atlas turned and gave me the universal shrug that could only mean what the hell? I pointed downward, then at my own eyes, then downward again, and finally tapped my temple. I had no better way of saying I know it's down there. Thankfully, Atlas was sharp enough to understand. The two of us pulled at the rope hard enough to nearly yank it from Tiago and Rowan's hands. All three men spun around in surprise.

Atlas asked and left the couch he sat down, running to check what's wrong with his twin brother, Atlene pushed him away and stopped coughing. “Don't come closer to me moron” He glared and stood up from the couch heading out of the lounge, My siblings, and friends whispered between themselves, wondering what's wrong with him, I scoffed watching their confused state. Atlas paced to and fro the lounge confusingly shaking his head and stomping his foot on the floor, confusion written all over his face and He ran out of the lounge following the direction Atlene took. **Atlas POV***

I turned and saw Atlas emerging from the doorway and staring at the people coldly. He gave Zoe a flat, dark look. "What are you doing here, Zoe?" I saw a nervous look on Zoe's face. She tried to smile in front of him. "I-I... I was just saying hello." She retreated her steps and tried to approach me. But Atlas pushed her arm away. Atlas pulled my arm and moved me away from them. "I heard what you guys said from outside." He puts me behind his shoulder. Atlas looked at them one by one. He grasped my hand tightly. My eyes watched them from behind Atlas' back. The three of them looked panicked. "It's not what you think." The long-haired woman who had grabbed my shoulder earlier argued.

I turned and watched Mason collide with Lukas, who'd stopped dead in his tracks at the sight of Atlas in his birthday suit. The good doctor turned, gave them an absent wave, and shifted back to look at me. Mason and Lukas looked like they'd seen whatever deity they worshipped in the flesh. And were in clear and present danger of falling to their knees before him. "And what was the big quake we felt?" he asked. I smothered the laugh that wanted to erupt as I watched the other men. Atlas' glare had me focusing on him and his questions. "I tried to follow Tenny's directions so I could fly out of here. It didn't work too well."
