I came from a family of thick women, so I was definitely looking sickly. Resolved to straighten up my act, I washed my face off again and put a little blush on to add color to my face. I slipped on a sports bra and matching leggings before pulling on one of Sterling’s Howard tees. It still smelled like him, and I refused to wash it. I missed him so much. I even sprayed a little extra of his Armani Code cologne on it so that I could sleep peacefully. Before I could leave the bathroom to join my kids, my phone rang. I silently prayed that it wasn’t my mother before I looked at the screen. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw that it was my best friend, Zabrena, calling.

"You really need to see this!" Without waiting for an answer, she put out her arm and showed a torn letter she was holding tightly. Ethan could smell his pack right away, but he didn't know who had written the letter. It was a message that looked like it was written quickly and messy, like the sender was in a hurry. Gabriel moved forward, his "alpha" reflexes kicking in. He picked up the letter and quickly looked at what it said. As he read, his face got darker. "What's that?" Ethan asked, with his heart racing from worry.

Her eyebrows furrowed together. He shrugged, "Yeah, you said you like English." Annie felt a warmth in her chest seeing that Leo remembered that minor detail. "Sure, you can email it to me if you want." "I actually have it at home," he told her casually. "My computer wasn't working so I just wrote it out myself." Annie nodded her head slowly, not sure why he was telling her that. "Okay... you can bring it tomorrow if you want." Leo frowned. "It's due first thing tomorrow morning. You wouldn't want to... come over and check it over real quick?"

And like that, we were in front of my quarters at the east end of the long walkway. “Let’s get in,” he said. “Wow, a huge flat screen television, and is that a game console?” he asked, with a hint of excitement. “Yeah, it is a Playbox series R pro infinity edition” “What the heck is that!? What type of naming sense is that?” he replied, laughing hysterically. “Okay now, let’s get to class”. Then he said; “System, take us to the realm of infinity.”
