The zombie had a hold of the warrior. Its frail appearance was obviously fake. It was strong enough to pick the warrior up as if he weighed nothing and throw him hard against the rear of the truck, holding him pressed up against the vehicle. The warrior yelled and growled in fury, kicking out to break free as the rest of the warriors leaped into action.

Standing three meters away, Mortiz stares between us, slowly and suspecting. It only heightens my peril as I avoid her eyes and press the quiet Vampire with my gaze.

Chester gradually advanced toward Zeke. Another charm appeared in Zeke's hand again. A two-meter-tall zombie emerged from the ground after he burned the charm. The zombie looked menacing and terrifying. It emitted a powerful and deadly aura as it joined the battle. The tiger-head spear stabbed at the zombie. Surprisingly, it made a metallic clang as it hit the target. Chester found it difficult to defeat the zombie for the moment. Everyone was on the edge of their seats. The drone was swatted from the air and smashed to pieces across the floor.

A long, dark red piece of intestine was still hanging from the corner of its torn mouth. "Roar!" The zombie let out an inhuman howl and dropped the piece of flesh in its hand before charging at Julian like a rabid animal. "Get away! Get away from me!" Julian was absolutely terrified and swung the kitchen knife wildly, hacking at the zombie's head. But long-term starvation had left him slow and weak. The slash missed the zombie's head and landed on its shoulder instead. With a crack, the rusty kitchen knife sank deep into the gap near the zombie's collarbone and stuck there.
