Audio Books Through Library Novels & Stories

I wish I had enough money for a phone and cordless headphones because it would be nice to fill some of this time with audio books. Maddie and I visit the public library every single Saturday morning. We check out the maximum number of books that we’re allowed, and we finish most of them before the next visit. We are both speed readers and enjoy learning as much as we can on almost any subject. But I can’t read on the job, so despite the library having free books on audio, most of my day is spent in silence.

I’ve never heard of it. I’m not much of a reader of books. I’m too distractible. When the money started to come in from the farmers’ market, I got into audiobooks, though. The sound doesn’t exactly drown out the pecking voice, but I can kind of focus on the narrator, and it really helps the day go by better.

“Yeah… Animorphs and Goosebumps in elementary school do not a reader make.” “Hey, those are quality pieces of literature!” I declare. “Says who?” “Says me!” I huff, crossing my arms. “And I’ve read other books too! I like Stephen King and Michael Crichton and Neil Gaiman and—“ “Okay, okay,” he surrenders, lifting his hands and cutting me off. “Seriously, though, why are you going to the library?” “I’m going to do some research.” “For what?” “New training methods. Double checking some of the warrior laws for the kingdom.”

I propped one of the books open on my legs and began to browse through it. Easton and I read the book together. I was glad to find that he read at the same speed as me, so I didn’t have to wait for him to finish before turning a page. We stayed in the library looking through different books about the Fae and Fae history for what seemed like an hour. I felt someone trying to mind link me, and opened the link. ‘Em, are you still in the library?’ Hannah’s voice asked. ‘Yeah. What’s up?’ I linked back.

When she entered the bedroom, she went straight to the bathroom, looked at the white marble bathtub, and decided to allow herself a moment of peace. "A hot bath, a good audiobook... I think that’s exactly what I need," she said to herself, smiling faintly. She grabbed her favorite towel, chose one of her favorite romance novels to listen to on her phone, and gently prepared the bathtub with aromatic salts and foam. While the hot water filled the tub, she tied her hair up and slipped into a soft bathrobe. Minutes later, she settled into the bathtub, pressed play on the story, and closed her eyes. Steam rose slowly, perfuming the air with lavender, and the audiobook’s words danced through her

Anna nods her head and said " Nothing ' She then faces away, and withdrew from the conversation.. I retired to bed and then grabbed a few a few books to read as I await falling asleep.. The following morning, I took the books back to the library and accidentally overheard a secret conversation between the library lady and someone else.. "Hey, What happens now?". I heard the library lady ask that question.. " I don't know, we should wait for instructions". The other person replied to the question of the library lady.. " Hmm! You crazy". The liberty lady yelled all of a sudden.. It was unexpected that I could hear her yelling, what was happening and why was she yelling?.. The conversation seiz

Melinda's and Kieran's sharp, piercing eyes, scanned the endless rows of books. Zora led them around the library, pointing out the different sections and genres. There were books on philosophy, science, art, and history, each one meticulously cataloged and arranged on the shelves. The titles were written in elegant calligraphy, and the bindings were richly adorned with gold leaf and embossed lettering. Kieran and Melinda were overwhelmed by the sheer size of the collection, and they couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer amount of knowledge that was contained within these walls.

I spent three more minutes getting back in. Sleep didn’t happen. The house was too quiet. Too big. Too full of space where sound should’ve been. At 2 AM I gave up and explored instead. The library was exactly as enormous as I expected. Books floor to ceiling with one of those rolling ladders, and here’s the thing, the spines were creased. These books had been read. Some of them were shoved in sideways because whoever organized them ran out of space and just kept going. He reads, I thought. Of course he does. Because he couldn’t just be terrifying. He had to be terrifying and well-read.

I bent down and looked at the books, trying to pick one to read for this period. I finally settled for " A chance at true love " and a smile tugged at my lips, I have been wanting to read this book since but haven't had the chance. I walked to the free roll where there wasn't any people before sitting down. I placed my earpiece in both if my ears before opening the book so I can start reading. You might find it weird but I can listen to music and at the same time read, well because it makes me feel like I'm in the book. " Betty "

I know you heard me. 'Yes, I heard it.' I said to him. 'I am now reading the book I got from the restricted section of the library. There is something about this book, titled The 12 Sinners: The Demon's Souls. I think there is something here we can use to defeat them. Who knows, I will start here. Just enjoy them first, dude.' I heard Hunter's voice in my head. He is talking to me. I nodded my head even though he couldn't see me.
