Audiobooks For Tweens Novels & Stories

“Yes, sweethearts, I will sleep here.” The twins happily clapped together. “Will you read us story books?” asked Sunny. “I would love that, sweetheart. What kind of book do you want me to read for you?” “I have plenty of books about princesses!” Sunny answered after swallowing the meatballs she was eating. “Princess? He will read to us about superheroes.” Skye appealed. “Princess!” “Superheroes!” “Princess!” “Superheroes!” “What about both?” Tristan intervenes in my twins’ fight.

I watch amused as her forehead creases, she’s thinking hard and the smile as she takes the copy of Sam Wu is Not Afraid of Ghosts. “I like the cover.” Her eyes are bright and full of curiosity. “Thank you,” mouths the mother as the girl starts going through the illustrations on the back. “Say goodbye to Ms. Rebecca.” “Goodbye, and thank you, Ms. Rebecca.” She runs ahead clutching her new favorite toy for the next couple of days. My best customers these days are the small children that every other day for reading time. We sit in a circle and grab a few books to read out loud. Right now we are reading together Argh! There’s a Skeleton Inside You! and they are loving it. The children's section

I smile as I drift off into slumber. I prepare myself before Mark wakes up. It's nearly six o'clock. I've always been an early riser. The kitchen isn't available, so I can't cook there. I can't go for a run because Mark will likely awaken soon. Dwelling on the topic only increases my stress, so my only recourse is to draw. I retrieve my sketchbook and pencils from my bag. Then I put on my headphones and start listening to the Twilight series once more. I say "again" because I read them when I was a freshman and now I'm listening to the audio version.

I ask him. “Well, I have not read the Twisted series, I heard it was really good book to read, that was why I recommended it to you. I can read the books with you, is that cool?” he asks me. I smile, happy that I will have someone to discuss the books with as I finish them, which is every reader’s dream.

He gestured toward the narrow aisle between fiction and children’s books. “Storage wasted on that back room. And don’t get me started on the courtyard out back. Prime square footage doing nothing but growing weeds.” Before she could fire back, the kids started filing in for storytime, backpacks thumping as they dropped onto the colorful rug. Elena shot him a warning look and moved to the front. She picked up *The Adventures of Benny the Bookworm*, her voice shifting into the warm, animated tone she used for the little ones.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

Because the only way out is forward, even if it hurts. “Wanna hear me read your bedtime story?” I smiled when she nodded. I stood up and walked towards the mini shelf in her room, which housed several stories from best-selling childhood authors. Author TED is, so far, my favorite children’s book author. She doesn’t just tell realistic stories; she weaves tales of courage, faith, hope, and love in a way that moves not only the child being read to but also the parent reading aloud. I picked up The Dancing Princess.

I wasn’t even sure if he’d gotten everything settled with his frat brothers when he drove me to the airport in the morning. I tried to let those thoughts fade away while on my flight home. I put in my earbuds and decided to listen to one of the smutty werewolf audio books Hana has gotten me hooked on, Alpha Gray by CJ Primer, with Theo and Maddie as narrators. The book is HOT, and Theo’s voice… yeah, it makes for an enjoyable two-and-a-half-hour flight. I love how he changes his voice when speaking for each Alpha. Hana told me they’ve done the narration for the rest of the series, and I can’t wait to listen.
