I looked through the shelves searching for the perfect book to read. There were so many and I was confused on the one to choose. Nevaeh always mentioned romance was the best but I knew romance has a lot of cheesy things. I wanted more of action with a bit of romance and lots of erotica. I picked out a worn out book. A man and a woman in a sensual position but the name had been torn out.

I glance at the cover of the book she slid across the counter: a Catherine Bybee novel. “Oh, wow, Mathilda. You’re a fan of Catherine Bybee?” I smile, genuinely impressed as I open the ledger. “It’s refreshing to see a teenager with such classic taste. Most girls your age are glued to their phones, but here you are, diving into a good romance.”

I smile sweetly at him. His eyes widen. “How is that romance?” “Well, becuase she falls in love with the new guy, and he loves her. Oh, and be warned, there’s two endings. Happy and sad. Decide the characters fate yourself.” I wink and he sighs. I watch as he opens the book ‘Tainted heat’ By Billiejo Priestley, and begins to read. It’s almost low level smut. I didn’t want to give him something where it goes too indepth, I can save that for next time.

She is smiling like she found something that just made her day. “What’s with the books?” Romy bounced onto the bed, “First, the romance book section in your library is awesome. We totally need to check it out together. Second, I got these pack law books. These are the first two of four.” I smiled. Of course, she had already gone to the library. Her weapon is her mind and sharp tongue. She uses them well, too. “Did you find something interesting?”

My eyes skim over the text as a small smile plays across my lips when I finish reading.
