Audrey & Third Person Audrey’s POV I sank down behind the potted plant, peering cautiously around the leaves as the sleek black town car pulled up to the curb. My heart pounded in my ears as the passenger side door swung open and Linda stepped out, her brunette curls bouncing as she sauntered up to the restaurant’s glass doors. A moment later, a well-dressed woman with impeccably coiffed gray hair emerged from another car, and I felt my breath catch in my throat as she and Linda exchanged polite handshakes. Audrey walked in. She was wearing her academy jacket half-zipped over a white t-shirt, hair pulled up in that messy way she did when she hadn't thought about it, which somehow looked better than when people actually tried. She had a paper cup of coffee in one hand and her laptop bag sliding off one shoulder and she was laughing at something Luca had said, head tipped back, completely unguarded. I've never considered myself beautiful. My almost platinum blonde hair was weirdly natural and my blue eyes where so light they sometimes seemed to reflect clouds. But beautiful? No.

All we wanted was to be Jacob and Sadie and be free. I found a woman by the name of Doctor Riley Kim. She is a well-known Psychiatrist here in Baker with a hell of a reputation. She is also very expensive and hard to see. I got an appointment for Sadie and me two weeks after Sadie turns eighteen. We hoped she would work with us once we told her our situation. We needed her to see Sadie as a mentally healthy woman. We needed her to see how wrong Sadies reports were. The only thing we worried about was how the doctor could get ahold of Sadies records without giving our location away. It wasn't going to be easy, but we had to try something.

It’s remarkable what some people do. A couple of men wink at me, and loads of ladies are biting their lips giving Dax lustful eyes as he addresses our audience for the evening, introducing the band. Dax has deemed me a special guest this evening, and his Songbird, not even remotely better than little bird, I roll my eyes. Andy drops a beat on the drums as Dax introduces her; Andy is gorgeous, has fire engine red hair, the right side is shaved and rocks it. She’s small but feisty. Soon I was done fixing her hair and she ordered me to pick out the best glow polish to Polish her red tails. I left and went into her luxury decorated room to pick out a glow red Polish and started polishing her tails to give it a glowing sparkle. Luciana is a spoilt princess who takes everybody as trash and she has no regards to people she feels too full of herself because she gets whatever things she wants at a snap of her hands. I envy her a little because ever since I was born I have been suffering haven't had a taste of motherhood no one to run to I've been depressed so many times and I've learnt to live with it.

She felt relieved when she closed the doors and went back to her seat. Like any other assassin, she had done her research. She was iconic in the fashion industry and had her own fashion line and was an investor in many popular cloth and shoe brands. She was rich, famous and was head over heels for Levi Wushi. However, even though she had everything she could ever want, she couldn't get any love or affection from Mr. Wushi.
