Archers followed in their wake, carrying weapons that glowed faintly with intricate witch-made runes. These were no ordinary arms but specialized tools designed to counter or contain the kind of power Aria possessed. Ryan’s expression hardened with resolve. “Move now. We cannot linger here.” The group hurried toward the eastern cliff path as arrows suddenly sliced upward through the storm.
