“I know.” A few minutes later, the door opened. Melanie entered the room confidently, holding her portfolio. “Good afternoon. I’m Melanie Jack—” Her voice cut off as her eyes met Anne’s. She froze. Shock hit her like a punch to the stomach. Anne leaned back in her chair, every movement deliberate, every breath measured. “Well,” Anne said, voice rich and syrupy. “You must be the last of our models.” Melanie blinked. “I… I didn’t know—”

“Why, what do you want?” Melody found her tone unfriendly, was she also turning on her? No that wasn’t possible, anyone but Anne would turn her back on her at this crucial time. “I… think Ralph wants to ruin me. It’s terrible.” She whispered trying to sound as miserable as possible. Yet Anne sounded as nonchalant as ever. “Well, you can’t step on the tail of a snake and not expect it to bite you.” She casually remarked which brought Melody to her senses, Anne was not on her side.

Melody’s POV At the moment I am in the middle of one of my concerts, doing what I love performing for my adoring fans. Having the time of my life! Enjoying the thrill of performing for my fans and feeding off of their energy. I am singing my last song for tonight. I gotta end this concert on a high note! Smiling widely at the roaring crowd cheering me on, I close my eyes and take a deep breath before beginning the song. Then I slowly raise the mike in my left hand towards my face and start singing with my eyes still closed. Getting lost in the song as I do so.

“No, please. Just this once. I promise I won’t tell anyone of my seeing you. I just need to know who you are,” I let out. She stared at me dryly. “Ok,” she said, making my lips curve into a smile. “Wow, thanks!!” I said. But I needed to know who she was and why she was always singing Carol songs right here. “Who are you?” I asked her. “I am Melody.” She replied me swiftly. “That’s such a beautiful name, Melody. I’m Audrey and I

she introduced herself gracefully. Anthony did not react, but Anne greeted her. "Hello." Even without the introduction, Anne knew about Meredith. She had heard rumors about her on the internet and Anne had learnt that she was a member of the elite society, but had not expected to see Meredith here. "This is my granddaughter as well. Her name is Bianca," Cory continued. "I know her. The piano goddess. I've heard your performance before. It's beautiful," Meredith said. "Thank you," Bianca said.

He takes her hand and leads her to the bench then returns to her seat next to Anthony. Melody stretches her fingers and takes two deep breaths. The sound that begins to fill the room catches all their attention. The notes become part of her, they flow easily as if they are leaving her body through her hands. At the end of her song, she stood up from the bench to the sound of applause. Not one person was seated.

For ten years, I stood beside Adrian Shaw while he clawed his way up from nothing to a nine-figure fortune. In all that time, he never once took me anywhere that cost more than twenty dollars a head. On the eve of our tenth anniversary, I sent him a link to the steakhouse I'd been saving for years. His expression darkened. "Just because we have money now doesn't mean we can forget how hard life can get. Thrift is a virtue, Nora. Don't lose it." I thought he had a point, so I nodded and agreed to cancel the reservation. Then, on the day I went to the restaurant to cancel it, I saw Adrian across the dining room, having dinner with a girl. He cut her steak for her, then reached over and ge

" With that, he hurriedly left. Just then, Nina's phone vibrated. Melody West, the currently most popular singer known for her sensual performances and suggestive lyrics, had posted on Instagram. She shared a close-up photo of her hand with the caption: "I've received the engagement ring. Aren't you coming over for our wedding night?" In the photo, she wore the sapphire ring from the same celestial collection on the ring finger of her left hand.

I am enveloped by the melody that seems to take care of me, I close my eyes and dance in the midst of people, some men look at me, in fact their eyes fall on my cleavage, I smile and continue following the music. My hips sway according to the enveloping melody, which pulls an exacerbated sensuality inside me, and lights up an Alana that dwells inside me, the girl who wants to provoke her irritated boyfriend because of the cleavage, which is just a ruse to make him lo more crazy, but he doesn't understand... If today I feel my body on fire, it's because of him, and everything that causes me, and the sensual voice of the lead singer of Muse involves my movements. He doesn't understand that he

“I’m worried that I’ll mess it up. That man, I mean professor, is a genius composer.” “Who just happens to have the same talent as you.” Kristoff cracks a smile. “And what kind of talent is that?” I’m skeptical. “Do you mean...?” “Excuse me?” Anne, a violin prodigy, suddenly walks up to us and then turns to look at Lora. “Hello. I was hoping you could help me with something.” Lora shrugs. “Sure, what is it?” “I’ve got this new song here. It’s quite long, and I’d like some of it to sound like a rhapsody, but I’m having trouble keeping up with the time signature. I saw how good you are with beats and rhythms,” Anne says.
