She tells me that I am a girl on an important journey, and that there are depths to me that I have yet to discover. So far, all of that is true, although it’s probably true of nearly everyone in this mall. Maybe Sarah was right, and this was a waste. But then, the old fortune teller flips over a card that makes her let out a small gasp, then go quiet. I lean over to look. The card is upside down, but it depicts a rabbit, skinny and tall and white, standing under a full moon. Its eyes are red, and its teeth are long. “This is an unusual card,” the old woman murmurs. “And especially rare to see inverted.”

" He grabbed the hostess's hand. The witch's legs were fettered by the hem of the dress, but a few sharp steps under the crackling of broken threads solved this problem. We urgently need to go to grandma! Running around the corner of the building, with the last of her strength, the fortune teller soared into the air. “This is the only correct decision in the last few days,” the assistant grumbled, keeping up with his mistress, turning into a raven.

Angel whispered in my ear. I burst into laughter. She was so cute when she was talking, I don't know what this guy has done to me but she was getting me enchanted by her eyes and the way she speaks and carries herself around. My butterflies hovered over Xanthea’s face, dusting her with anesthetic pollen as I gently closed her eyelids, easing her into unconsciousness. My head snapped back, hearing footsteps approaching from behind. Another Azum — this one wearing glasses — walked toward us. I glanced at the one in front of me. “He’s my avatar. A clone,” he said. “He’ll assist you.” I returned my focus to Xanthea. “Ungh!” Xanthea writhed as the divine energy pulsed harder from the fang. “Begin transfusion!” I cried. “Quick!” Azum lay beside Xanthea as his avatar began chanting the transfusion spell.

She just handed over some money, but the lady refused to take the money from Arabella. "I don’t take money from those who don’t believe in my readings, sweetie" the fortune teller said with a polite smile. "The day when everything I said happens, come back and pay me, I'll take money from you on that day only," the fortune teller looked very confident making Arabella to be surprised. Arabella just smiled in return, somewhat uncertainly hanging in between the line of belief and disbelief, while Xander, excited by what he'd heard, tried to know his future too, "Can I take a card too?"

She turned sharply. A raven sat on a gnarled branch, watching her with bright, too-intelligent eyes. Its feathers shimmered with unnatural darkness. Then it opened its beak. And spoke. “Moon’s Chosen,” it rasped. “He awaits you in the place where shadow kisses stone. Bring your blood. Bring your fire.” The raven burst into black smoke. Selene didn’t flinch. She looked at Kieran, who had seen it too. His jaw was clenched. “What the hell does that mean?”

I stood in the center of the living room, stunned by Scott's words. Could my future really be mine to decide? Scott simply left me with one short but meaningful sentence. "When you have thought it through, come see me." Michael opened his mouth, wanting to argue, but Scott's indomitable presence forced every word back down his throat. "Dad, I'll never…" My protest was cut off by a sudden, frantic pounding on the door. The door was forced open, and Fiona stumbled inside, clothes torn, face covered in bruises, utterly disheveled.

"I know the first time I saw you, we will meet again." Ava glanced around and surprised to see the house of the fortune teller was not like what she used to think. It was like another country house with a set of simple and shabby furniture, a worn-out carpet and some vintage wall decorations. A cupboard full of pots and jars stood on the corner. Seemed like they were the famous healing potions and medicine. "There's no crystal ball if you're looking for it." The woman startled her out of her observation. Ava turned to the Gypsy woman and smiled back. "I guess you know why I am here now."

“No. We’re not leaving until you tell us what you saw. What’s wrong with our baby?” Finally, she nodded and sank back down onto her chair, looking defeated. There was no going against Enzo’s Alpha voice, and I couldn’t tell if she somehow knew that or if it was just that the voice worked on her. She sighed. “Okay,” she murmured. “But please, I’m just the messenger…” “Just tell us,” Enzo demanded, folding his arms across his chest. “Whatever it is, you had better spit it out, and now.” The fortune teller nodded slowly. Then, finally, she began to speak.
