It shows that if a water bender eats his/her own bloodline will consume the others’ power and transform him/her to a powerful fire bender. This will allow the other bender gain and use its other nation’s power by forcing their selves to have that kind of power but turning them to a monster.

I could feel its coolness, its fluidity, its quiet strength. “Now, visualize it moving,” Alara encouraged. “Imagine the water bending to your will, flowing as you ask it to.” At first, nothing happened. I tried to push down my frustration, knowing this was something I had to feel, not force. I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath, and pictured the water responding to me, flowing in a gentle circle within the bowl. When I opened my eyes, I gasped. The water was indeed swirling, faint ripples tracing a path just as I’d imagined. It was a small movement, but it was real.

Her fingers tightened around it with all her strength as she struggled to pull herself back onto the vehicle. Her heart pounded wildly inside her chest. Simultaneously with Venus's brain ordering something on her Talent object. Liquid snow in front of Venus glides up to form a giant ball of water. The ball hit Artha until it locked the aul in it. Venus moves the ball of water up the hall using her mind. Artha swims in panic, try to get out of the cage. BRASH! The water ball broke, dropped Artha to the ground strongly. Venus looked quickly, found Amertha raising his left hand to the side. Venus growled in anger. Amerta has attacked the water ball with snowballs until they burst.

Cayden yells into the mind link, opening it up to the entire pack. I close the mind link to the whole pack, leaving it open just for my Beta, Gamma, Delta and Lead Warrior. “Dax,” I say into the mind link, unable to believe the question I’m about to ask, “do we have any wooden stakes, garlic or holy water?” I’m now running out of the packhouse and heading to the southern border of my pack lands with Raul running right next to me. We haven’t had a chance to actually speak to each other since my guard woke me up, but I have no doubt he already knows what’s going on because he’s a smart guy and a good Alpha. “Do those things actually work?!” He asks incredulously.
