“ Apology accepted.” “ We had to run a few errands, we should have called you, sorry.” Xi pouted just as Kaye’s call came in, making Ayanda clear her throat loudly. “ Hi,” she answered, glaring at Ayanda and blushing at the same time. “ What's up?” he casually asked. Nothing much, I'm home with the girls,” she shrugged as Ayanda turned on the TV to watch some N*****x. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “ How's it going?” Zeke asked as soon Aly answered her call.

I just plucked it out of my closet. I grabbed my phone and called my best friend. Aisha is a beta. Beta ranks from seven hundred downwards to be things like teachers, philosophers, and anything that involves discovering and passing on information. She’s a federal informant for the Dark Moon pack. “Yay, you’re married.” she didn’t sound excited, and honestly, neither did i. “Let’s be real, I made a mistake.”

My mom says with the same beautiful fake practiced smile but it falls a little when she sees Jake and Emily. “Please tell me this girl is your bodyguard’s girlfriend.” My mom says in a friendly tone but I could hear the malice. “Mrs Williams.” “That’s not my name anymore.” My mom says rudely. What is her problem? “So can I call you ‘danika’s mother’?” Emily asks, innocently. “No. you may call me Mrs. Walts.”

- I answered him. - So, you have alpha training? Why didn't you say that before? – the headmaster asked me. - I didn't know what training was given here. Anyway, I rarely beat my cousin. He's an alpha, and I'm merely a beta. - Do you mean River Ash's future alpha? - he asked me. - Yes.

I turned back dialing a number. Suddenly someone walked closer to me, she fell on her knees. “Please don't kill us,” she pleaded, but before I could respond she zapped me with a teaser and I fell down…everything slowly went blank.

Ayesha’s hands trembled. She hadn’t seen this name in over a decade. And yet, here it was. Tied to the most powerful conspiracy on the planet. Ayesha swallowed hard. Then she whispered the name. “Zayn Malik Shah.” Silence. Leena blinked. “Wait. Shah?” Adrian frowned. “That’s your last name.” Priya exhaled. “…Ayesha, who is this?” Ayesha closed her eyes. When she opened them? Her voice was steady.

The twi were always at each others throats and it was a sight to see the ever calm Daniel, and the no nonsense Aisha clash every single time. They fought over every single damn thing. “Never, you know I love the show and besides, she's the best at her job.” I say with a smirk and in this moment, Daniel was shooting daggers at me with his eyes. Thankfully, they're just eye daggers and can do me no harm. Aisha was the owner of a top fashion brand in the country with all the designs being hers which was extremely unique, unlike the bunch who just sold clothes that looked nice.

She led Tessa to the far corner of the store near the cleaning supplies, where few people passed. Ayisha leaned against the shelf, lowering her voice. “Listen to me, Tessa. Ethan can’t know I saw you.” Tessa frowned. “Ethan? Who is Ethan?” Ayisha hesitated, glancing around again. “He’s Ares’s enemy. Dangerous. He’s the one I work with now. If he finds out I made peace with you or freed the kids, he’ll kill me.” Tessa’s eyes widened. “Kill you? Ayisha—”

The butler had announced their arrival, and we went out to greet them as they stepped out of the car. One by one, the six of them came out like gods and goddesses that owned every square inch of this house. There were four handsome men in suits and a girl, a very beautiful girl. She had black hair with grey highlights. Upon closer inspection, I noticed that she looked like the supermodel Serena, no wait, she was Serena. I was shocked, but I had to hide it. “The Vittelis, welcome to our humble abode”, my father smiled,, ah but where is the groom? And your parents? If I may”

Ayesha's POV Danielle Osei arrived at the Brooklyn space at nine on Wednesday morning in the specific way of a person who understood that arriving when you said you would arrive was not a courtesy but a professional baseline, and she was tall and direct and had the quality of someone who had spent enough time in rooms that resisted her ideas to have learned not to announce them defensively but to place them in the room with enough confidence that the room had to contend with them. She looked at Ayesha and said, "You're the person from London."
