It was definitely eight AM. Usually, breakfast would have been brought to me at this time but nothing. Maybe Hilra was running late. No pressure anyway. I was determined to make today a good day. Some minutes passed and still no one came for me. I stole the opportunity to keep reading my book till I would be interrupted. The next page was on the first Aspenian war, which caused the Townsend to share their gifts with outsiders. It was then that they discovered Hecate could enchant a blade and it can be used to share genetics from just a simple cut, instead of losing pints for the exchange.

I cling to Azazel as the room shudders with the loud thumping sound of approaching footsteps. “Bloody hell, this is a trap! Stay behind me!” Azazel whispers as he reaches into his back and removes a large sword and knife. The sword is the same one I saw him fighting with at the gladiator arena with its long, sharp metallic blade. The knife is smaller, but the blade is just as sharp. He hands me the knife and pushes me further back as we wait for whatever is heading towards us to arrive. “Use it only if you feel threatened. Always stab in the chest, neck, or face. Don’t hesitate.” He whispers urgently.

He activated the spiritual energy within him, gathering it on his Thunder Blade. The Thunder Blade gleamed with a cold light, and a crimson hue appeared on the blade. "Crazy Blade Strike!" A sharp and fierce blood-red blade light cut through the air, flashing through the moonlit woods. Just as the blade light was about to touch Sebastian's body, a semi-transparent shield appeared in front of him. Clang! When the blade light struck the shield, the shield dissipated, and the blade light was also neutralized. Sebastian was unharmed, showing no signs of damage.

“If I cannot wield you, then none shall touch you!” A crooked smile played on Huang Fu’s lips. Even if the two from the Sacred Dragon Sect still lived, they would never reclaim this ancestral blade. Then, suddenly... “Argh!” he felt his leg stumble and he found himself sitting hard beside the Sacred Dragon Sword. “D-did the sword push me?” *** Dawn had only just broken when the prisoners were already arrayed in the palace yard. Chen Long stood before them, eyes like a starving lion. “Bring out the upper-tier prisoners!” he barked, and several guards drove out those held in the aboveground cells.

He pressed down painfully hard, my face smashing against the dirt ground. "You have sinned, Stephanie," Drake explained calmly despite my screams. "You have the devil within which we must and will extract." "No!" I screamed at the top of my lungs as I watched Ace approach with the stick. He knelt down beside me as his eyes stared down upon me. "Ace please," I cried. "Please listen to me. Don't do this. We can ... " "Lay down your punishment, Ace!" Drake demanded in his monotone voice.

He caught his balance at the last second and he bared his teeth at me. "I will kill you for this," Azriel promised in a low whisper. His eyes flickered with a dangerous golden light. "You can certainly try," I answered easily. I knew I was faster and stronger than he was. I reached down to the thick leather sheath strapped to my right thigh. I wrapped my fingers around the textured handle of my silver combat blade. I pulled the heavy knife free. The sharp metal made a quiet sliding noise against the leather. I raised the blade and I pointed the sharp silver tip directly at Azriel's chest. I held the weapon perfectly steady under the bright chandelier lights.

I don't want to give up yet—there is still energy left within me. As I think those words, the feather glows around my neck before snapping free from its necklace. A brilliant light causes me to close my eyes. The sirens hiss, and once I open my eyes again, I find the feather replaced with a sword—Azrael's blade. Without hesitation, I grab hold of the sharp blade and find it weightless in my hand. Vampires possess inhuman strength, yet somehow, I think the sword has chosen me, and therefore it's as light as a feather in my hand.

I felt my breath pause for too long to remain alive, and then, I fixed my gaze on Elaine. "As I said before, curses don't work on her," Azrael grumbled beside me, probably thinking of the obvious, that I would try to attack Elaine with magic, but I looked at him with a smile and ripped the black sword from the fallen one's hip. "Wait!" he shouted, "what do you think you're going to do with that?" "You don't even know how to use a sword," he shouted mentally, too loud to hide his foolish thoughts from me. I smiled openly, and with a brief impulse on my tiptoes, I leaped towards Elaine.

[Aysel] Alessia and I race towards the palace. What the hell is wrong with Azriel? First, he asks Kai to practically throw me out of the premises and now he is trying to kill Aiden. I feel too overwhelmed to even think about whether or not the wolfsbane is responsible for this. Damn. We reach Aiden’s office and Alessia cries out as we find Azriel choking him to death. Aiden’s eyes have almost bulged out at this point.

Zitrey just glared at him and went inside. Matt, seeing how far the distance between them, but she easily closed it by split of seconds, then rubbing his neck and feeling the pain, he had thought, “She was still young, yet have extra-ordinary skills and killing intent. Doesn’t feel pain. Truly a masterpiece of the Dark Moon. A perfect killing machine, that’s why they don’t want to let her go. However, if she won’t go back, those geezer thought its just best to kill her before she will turn her back and come against them. Crimson Blade is the double blade that they raised, and might come to their head. The key to annihilate those bastards Dark Moon.”
