I asked pointing towards the box. He walked to stand in front of me, "This is for you," he lifted the box slightly. "Open it," he nodded with his head. I slowly lifted the lid of the box and a small gasp escaped from my lips as I looked at the wind chime in the box. A smile instantly made its way on my face as I touched the cold surface with my fingers. It made a soft noise when I tried to remove it from the box. There were three golden rectangular tubes in the middle with small stars and moons dangling around them unevenly. The moons represented every shape of the moon while the stars were shining brightly around it.

The men nodded and got to work while the others shifted into wolves and darted back into the woods to find their comrades who had been wounded by the beast. Moon's call approached his cottage which was close to a hill at the other side of a narrow stream flowing down into the river at one part of the forest. He walked across the board bridge he had made over the stream to get to his own side. Although he would have easily sprinted through the stream if he was in his wolf form but he didn't really fancy getting wet when he was in his human form.

Ameliah asked…. He continued staring at his palm, there was a crescent carved on it. He showed it to Ameliah who stared at it confused… “What’s that thing?” Ameliah asked… “This signifies that the blue moon is near. When this crescent that’s carved in my palm will be full that’s the day of the blue moon” He explained. Ameliah stared at him with a surprise expression. She cupped his cheeks which made him to look at her… “Everything will be fine Stephen, you’ll save your people. I have faith in you” Ameliah said..

We bent to read the plaque. "Luna Jessica of the Blood Moon pack, the second of the pack to be Corrupted, victim of the Silver Hands." the plaque read. "Your mother," Mabel told me. She walked to a cabinet I hadn't noticed and got out a round, white rock. It was big enough to fit in the cup of her palms. "Moon rock," she told me. "Harnesses the light of the moon. It captures moonlight, and releases it when the user needs it."

she growled over at me with a frown, “Your name is Aurora, named for the new dawn. You are twin sister to Zelena, second born daughter to Micha and Lunaya Alvar. You come from the line of Selena, the chosen daughters, descendants of the All mother herself. You hold the power of the Moon Goddess, and you bare her mark. You are mine to love, ours to cherish, and the worlds to adore. You are Aurora”.

Something had changed since he tasted her blood. "Is it the mate bond? No, it can't be." His inner self contradicted himself as he was looking at her. She couldn't be his mate. A Rogue can't have such a title or responsibility. Moon Goddess would never choose someone as filthy to be the Luna. That was the reason he kept the ceremony hidden. For the world, she would be still annotated as his slave or mistress but not as Luna. She would be his staircase to gain the power he was craving. But his mind started getting blurry with her continuous painful expression. Her broken state made him think of something apart from his plan too. But he was not willing to accept that.

“I’ll make sure she’s there.” “Behave.” I rolled my eyes. All I needed right now was for him to tell Brenna something and make a spectacle in front of everyone.” “Who, me?” His eyes widened innocently, but he hurried off before I could say anything more. The limos pulled in and were guided to park along the edge of the huge circular, cobblestone driveway that blended perfectly with the castle. A fountain with a stone statue of the Moon Goddess, Selene, was in the center, the Moon behind her head. Her hands were open, and water poured from her palms. It was beautiful and added to the old-world ambiance of the castle.

Some real life places were used purely for landmark purposes. The characters themselves are pure imagination with personalities inspired by those the author has met in their own life’s journey. Ming Yue stood alone in the moon chamber at the top of the Moon Palace, her long, flowing robes rippling slightly in the cool breeze that blew through the open balcony doors. The night was still, the air filled with a heavy sense of mystery, as if the very atmosphere of the heavenly realm was holding its breath, waiting for something. Below her, the vast expanse of the realm stretched out, but her focus was fixed on the moon that hung high above, a glowing silver sphere that bathed the world in its ethereal light.

I wait til I hear feel the cold air drifting into the kitchen and the soft sound of a door closing before glancing into the hallway again. Through the doors glass I could see Embers back to me. The left side of her body was eliminated white from the moon and her hair looked like silver threads as they hung down her back. Creeping towards the door she shifts and a second later a see a silvery gold wolf dashing across the snow, her body low as she ran.
