I walked over to the couch and sat down. A few moments later Michele returned from the bedroom. She had changed into a loose fitting sweatshirt and a pair of yoga pants. Her long hair was now pushed back behind a headband. She looked cute. I tried to keep that out of my mind. I was here for information. She still appeared nervous as she left her little galley kitchen and took a seat on the chair opposite me. For a moment we sat awkwardly in silence. I knew what I wanted to ask, but didn't really know how to get started. "So," she said, "Would you like anything to drink?" she asked. I shook my head. For whatever reason, her talking kick started things and I was able to talk.

The people I didn't realize were inside the room emerged from nowhere with cameras and their video gadgets. Jesus Christ, how didn't I realize that they were in the middle of a shoot. "I think I should leave." I muttered wobbly and found myself walking out but Michelle dragged me back. "come on, don't be weird." She scoffed and made me follow her to the couch at the far end of the office. "Are you not tired of coming to Ryker's for help?" Michelle threw at the lady who was just walking up to us in a rather pissed tone.

She has been pressuring me to go to a play or something to cool my head down after I fired a staff for spilling coffee in front of me. We walked inside together and found our seat in the middle row. “Perfect view,” she whispered. I nodded. The stage was right in front of us. Violins. Cellos. A grand piano. Everything set neatly in place. The lights slowly dimmed, and the talking stopped. Michelle pulled out her phone to record the show. “What are you doing?” I whispered. “Taking a video,” she replied. Yeah, thanks for the obvious. “Why?” She turned to me like I had just said the weirdest thing in the world. “For memories.”

The old man looked for the words to explain the situation to his boss. “Bring this girl inside right now!” Hugo commanded and turned to get inside the mansion. She was led into the living room where an extravagantly dressed lady was already sitting who looked nothing short of a supermodel. It was Michelle. She quickly sprang up to her feet, clearly confused. Within a few minutes, Camila was awkwardly sitting on a heavily decorated couch, desperately trying not to stain it. Her heartbeat was through the roof. She was left alone with Michelle in the living room while Hugo was supposedly busy taking care of some business in the other room. Michelle called out and walk towards him seductively. "What are you doing here?"Grayson said coldly. "I came to check up on you,"Michelle replied. "you should leave now as you can see I'm really busy and I don't want any disturbance,"Grayson said coldly. Michelle sat down on one of the chair in Grayson's study,she doesn't want to leave even when she was asked to because she knows Anya and Jane would laugh at her if she comes out early so she sat down in his study and watch him work.

Her eyes looked friendly and channeled a peaceful energy into me. “Thank you. You must be Mia?” I asked. “Yes. Let’s go in.” I took off my shoes and walked inside, following Mia’s footsteps. The inside of their apartment looked cozy and warm. I saw a big teddy bear sitting in the center of the sofa. It’s the same as the one Clara bought yesterday. Mia’s footsteps led me to the dining room. And I saw two beautiful women sitting at the dining table. Lizzy smiled at me, while Anya looked surprised to see me.

Gold City was vast, but its social circles were small. Yet, Christine and I never met. One afternoon, I happened to see their daughter, Alicia, at a buffet restaurant. She was hiding behind an artificial rock decoration and eating a tub of ice cream. She looked like an adorable squirrel with how she was stuffing her cheeks. I stopped in my tracks without thinking and found it impossible to tear my eyes away. A moment later, I heard Christine calling out her name. Alicia heard Christine too, and she widened her eyes in panic, unsure of what to do as she clutched the tub of ice cream.

Nothing happened but Michelle was determined to make it work, so she stayed like that for how long it needed. All it was seen from the outside was pitch black after a couple hours, and Tharak seemed to notice as he simply stopped laughing and then stood from the couch, distracting Michelle who hadn't been able to make it work. "Time for bed" he spoke, no room for arguments given. Michelle nodded and followed him into a corridor and then into a small room, which had a bed and a small chest that would be used to store her clothes and any things she would get. She was expecting to go back home soon, but by the looks of it it wasn't possible.

I'm sure the back door will be less guarded so we'll go in through there , plus the basement is closer to the back door , so apparently the back door is our best bet . "Stand back" I whispered to Michelle immediately we got to the back door. "Watch " I said and we peeped slowly. It was just one person there , "I've got this " she whispered and slowly moved to the guy. "Hey" she called immediately she got to his back and my eyes widened, what the hell was she doing. Just as he was about to turn to face her, she tightened her fist in a ball and slammed it aggressively in his face and he fell unconscious immediately.

I just hoped she wasn't back yet so I could sneak into her room and keep it, also arranging the place back to how it was before I went in and turned the whole place upside down. “Oh no, sh*t” I cursed under my breath, getting to Michelle’s room and she was back at the place. I didn't know if it was to shut the door and go back and come back late, or if it was to go inside since I had opened the door already, but I shut it immediately I had it open and found her on the bed.
