Liam's voice sounded behind Hayley. "We can move to the next level." Hearing that, Hayley finally stopped observing the area. She turned and led everyone down the stairs. There were zombies in the stairwell, too. Fortunately, each level had sealed doors. After clearing out the zombies on the next level down, they reached underground Level Two. There were even more zombies on Level Two. The layout was the same grid-like design. Corridors stretched in every direction, and the white hallways were littered with blood and wandering zombies.

The two high-level female zombies were stuck into the wall and could not come out no matter what. The girl widened her eyes. Seeing the Rank 1 male zombie before her eyes, her already blanched face paled even further. “You… You!” “Don’t worry. He won’t hurt you.” Lucas’s voice traveled into the girl’s ears. The girl jolted. She stared at Lucas. That was right. She had seen them just now. Lucas did not mind the girl any longer and looked at the two high-level female zombies on the wall instead. The two high-level female zombies appeared in a grid in Lucas’s mind. The level that showed for these two high-level female zombies was Level 7.

"You looking tonight. Just got a twink walk in here like 30 minutes ago. You might kick it off." "Nah. Not in the mood tonight. Are there any goods in the backrooms?" He nods and that's where I'm headed. The backrooms are rooms specifically for insane orgies and drug abuse. I enter one of them and take a seat on the cum soaked chair. But trust me, sweetheart each level’s worse than the last.”

The next second, they were fighting—fists colliding, furniture scraping across the floor. Players rushed in, dragging them apart before blood could spill. Barbara collapsed to the floor, tears streaming down her face like a helpless kid. Just when things were about to take a turn for the worst, the system’s voice cut through the chaos. “Congratulations, Player 70, Barbara.” The room stilled. Confused at to why Barbara was being congratulated. “You have successfully completed Level Two and given the audience the best show so far." “As such we have decided to reward you. Kindly proceed to the door for your reward."

“We build Level 1 first.” The words settled into the room. Not Level 100. Not a full master branch. Not some impossible pinnacle that only mythic bloodlines could reach. Level 1. The beginning. Kayo leaned back in her chair with her ankle hooked over the opposite knee. “That feels suspiciously sensible.” Remy, standing near the side wall with Aki and Riku, made a face. “Don’t compliment it too much. She’ll hear you.” “I already did,” Celeste said.

A bitter smile tugged at my lips. I remembered—crystal clear—the day he had once warned me, "Home? This will never be your home. Don't be stupid. My pack and villa have nothing to do with you."

Ivy narrowed her eyes. "How are you so sure?" she asked immediately. "Shouldn't we be focusing on surviving first? We still have an entire building filled with monsters." She folded her arms across her chest. "We don't even know what's waiting behind most of these doors. Rushing around carelessly sounds like a terrible idea." Nathan let out a scoff. "Basement Level Two contains a massive golden door," Nathan explained. "The place is heavily guarded, and there are monsters stationed all around it."
