I understand it was banned shortly after publication and that only three complete copies are known to exist.

I can't live my school because it's the only school that get dark-side books in it's library in my town New Orleans. I frequently used to go to library to read about story life of past oracles so I went against Mr John's advice by sneaking into the library to read my favourites untill I was banned not to enter the library anymore. Even though I was banned but he had forgotten that I borrowed a book from the library weeks ago which happened to be the darkest one called The Black Cults because I was eager to know how the black cults kill the Viper in that book.

What about you? History major with a focus on obscure trade? That’s not common.”

But wasn't that the appeal? Even Adam and Eve were tempted by the forbidden fruit and where did that lead them? Nowhere good, if Isis remembered correctly. Things were forbidden for a reason and just as his words conjured her arousal, her thoughts hindered them but it didn't stop her from answering truthfully. Hearing a satisfactory answer, the big boss's mood was much better; before leaving, he added a sentence, 'That kind of nonsense books with no nutrition, it's best to watch less.' Stupid books with no nutrition??? Does he mean he opened them up too? Oh, man! She was so depressed that she wanted to throw away the comic books. But... these storybooks are her spiritual food. Moreover, they are imported from abroad, and it's hard to buy; throwing them away is a waste!

Arian's pov I never thought a book club meeting could feel like a battlefield. Today, we are reading The Art of Forbidden by Linda Lively, and from the very moment I flipped through its pages, my face had been hot. The story is about a powerful president who was secretly in love with his male secretary, and if that wasn’t bold enough, the prose was filled with intimacy, longing, and heat. Naturally, everyone thought it would be for people to take turns reading aloud. But I wasn't really in the mood to read, not after what the police said to me.

He asks and I chuckle. "This book is about a war between dragons and shit. It's not like a cook book or a knitting class." I say, chewing on some ice as I type up the description online. "Stop chewing on ice, you're gonna ruin your teeth." Jack barks through the phone, but I ignore him. "Yes or no? I'm sure Mrs. B would just give us the books. You're the one who was bitching that we need to try new things." I say and he groans a little, obviously annoyed by me.

Badette was also beginning to show symptoms of asthma as a second-hand smoker but, again, these were sacrifices that women made in the name of love and wasn’t something she expected any of those goodie-good girls to ever comprehend, what of their sweet and sheltered lives. Her mother wasn’t worth mentioning. Badette only ever talked about her in those slum books common especially among graduating students. They were half-autograph books and were sweeter and gentler than the original American “slam” books. All manners of gadgets being banned during class time or chapel service, analog slum books were the next best social media. Besides, filling one out made it look like you were studying hard
