I was done with my touches fighting the inner voice telling me I was doing too much just to go and read in a library where I was banned. Now you might wonder why I was banned, and it's not for the most popular reason. I was a quiet reader. It so happened one day, after I discovered the library in the Darkmoon manor. I went in there to read just like every other person does. My coming into the manor was not accepted by many and the lord over them all was Lucas who still had this resentment against me, back then when we were still younger wolves. I was always fascinated with whatever that was written in a book and it so happened I stumbled upon the art section.

Alicia screamed with a sigh. "You do know you are not permitted to read that book in your hands right?" Bryan asked. "It is forbidden in the palace for a witch to read the spell book." "I… I didn't know about that, I was just so bored and decided to read a book. I came into the Library, and that was the first book that caught my attention when I came here. I didn't know it was forbidden to read it, I meant no harm whatsoever," Alicia said with her face to the ground.

With no money left to spend, he didn’t feel like hanging around in town. He felt extremely furtive when he snuck back into his tiny, windowless room with the books. A month before, three boys had been suspended for keeping porn mags in their room. Sam was a timid boy, and he wondered what his housemaster would do if he found Sam with these gruesome looking books. He imagined the look of shame and disappointment on his mother’s face if he were to be suspended. Sam slipped all three books into the gap between the back of his wardrobe and the wall, hoping no one would think to look there until he could get rid of them.

That was simply blowing the matter out of proportion, did he think that just because he banned magic in his territory, it will vanish from the world? “ Fine, I get it …” she snapped flinging her arms as she glared at no one in particular. “ He might as well bring Lily to life by some sort of non-magic miracle then,” seriously, he burnt all the books in the library now where was she supposed to find a decent book with a counter curse for dark magic?

“And acting skittish about it?” Letting out an irritated grunt, she explains. “Let's just say years ago the council grew scared the book could mistakenly get out to humans if discovered, so it was banned from society and burnt to ashes. Or at least, the copy of the book was burnt. A long time ago-” She hesitates, staring at me for a brief second, before continuing. “An ancestor of mine wrote this book and no one has any idea I have the only original with me. If anyone finds out I have this in my possession my entire family would be punished and I can’t let that happen, they’re already facing enough being defects.”

That's the last thing he would expect from his fellows who have bestowed their lives to protect the land. "I don't believe it!" "Oh! Don't be silly! Not that it has to be a traitor in every case! There were some forbidden books in the old library where you could get this information easily!"Alan exclaims in annoyance, "You people make scenes too dramatic." "Were! Those books were burnt long ago since they possessed a threat!"Ario interrupts. But that doesn't shake up Ailann even a bit. Rather, he smiles and says, "What if it was just a show to cover our eyes?"

“That book is filled with lies, no wonder why they wanted to burn it!” “Alpha, I searched for anything I could find out about this book. This book was only prohibited and hunted to be burned because it talks about a forbidden topic. A relationship between an Alpha and an Omega was viewed as profanity. It was so indecent that they don’t allow anyone to talk about it.” Beta Alek explained. I scoffed at him. “I thought you’ve already read that book before you brought it to me. Tell me, do you really believe that this book makes sense?” I asked him.

The old woman didn't want their ill manners to hurt Elira and stress her pregnancy over some mindless gossip. However, after weeks of enduring open threats to her life, Elira had grown a backbone for rumors and was much stronger than she was before. “Nireya, do you know why these sorts of books were banned?” She asked, shutting the book close with a thud. Of course Nireya knew the reason, even a child born yesterday would know the tale of the great war which passed on from generation. “They were prohibited because the five kingdoms decided it was best.” Nireya scraped the surface of the truth, she didn't want to be the one to tell Elira about the tragic event.

Everytime a book catches her attention, she would pick it up. There are a lot of books in different kinds of litsrature. Some were about history, a guide to a better archery, how to properly handle a sword, steps in forging an armor, and etc. There were even books that are forbidden to be displayed in public. They were mixed among books that were displayed in each shelves. Those were books that aside from this library located in an alleyway, no other library dares to display those books in their shelves. Naomi also wanted to have her hands on one of those forbidden books but she dared not to.

That those things don’t happen anymore. And yet every time there was a festival at the capital, there were always casualties. “I don’t know much about the war,” I say. “I only know bits and pieces.” Yohan flips another page, “This sort of book was banned even for Alphas.” “Can I read it?” Yohan didn’t give me the book.
