*The Next Day* The buzzing sound of my alarm clock woke me up. It is a brand new day for another grind to work. I got up out of bed and get ready to work at Ross. He was in his forties, maybe, with a salt-and-pepper beard and eyes that had seen too much but still found ways to smile. “Have a seat. I got you.” I nodded and took the chair. He wrapped the black cape around me, snapping it gently at my neck, then studied my reflection in the mirror.

I didn't move away either, and the distance between us kept shrinking. At that moment, a sharp male voice sliced through the air, breaking the moment. I wrapped the extremely tiny towel around my well-endowed body, still glistening fresh out of the shower and walked out of the en-suite to find Tobias on the phone in just fresh boxers and a pair of black ripped jeans exposing the rest of his built body. After making all of these decisions, I let out a breath of relief. Then, I decided to head down to the bar Ethan owned to look for him. Ethan's bar was called Moonlight Lounge. Once I reached the main entrance of the building, I saw Blaise, who was supposed to be recuperating in the hospital. Blaise's arm was wrapped around Susie's waist, and the pair looked incredibly intimate. When Blaise caught sight of me, he stopped caressing Susie's face and frowned.

We arrived at the barbershop right on time. "Good morning, Alphas," the barber said as we entered. My father looked confused, as if another Alpha was on his territory without permission. The smell of pine trees was carried by the wind and the sounds of cicadas tickling her ears. “It’s too late, what the hell did Maynard do at the training ground at this time of hour?” Agatha complains, then they hear footsteps heading to them. “B-Barrett? Why are you here?” It was Maynard, who was wet from sweat glistening to his sculpted body, he was only wearing faded jeans and was barefoot. He swept his wet hair back and grabbed a towel at the nearby chair. “Do you like my present Maynard? So can you let go of Irvin now?” She smiles sheepishly telling her cruel intention of bringing Barrett in the mansion.

“Ride safe.” “Thanks.” I put the cash through the slot and smile. “You have a good day.” I put my helmet on to conceal my identity and pump the gas, then take off as quickly as I can. A few shopping centers away, I find a barbershop next to a deli that looks a little run down, but it will do the trick. “What can we do for you today?” The barber flicks the cape as he drapes it over me. “Short, please. No more blonde for me.”
