It feels like taking a sip straight from a bottle of Hennessy, only Xavier was my Hennessy. I turn and mutter a thank you to the bartender — in a way to distract myself from Xavier's burning stare, and because I am honestly being sincere — who nods in turn and walks off to assist a new pair of couples who just came to the bar. The beverage is decorated with a cherry and sprinkles, which rested on a white foam. I gingerly take a sip, the taste of ginger beer and some unfamiliar alcoholic beverage tingle on my tongue. "Come on." Xavier holds out his unoccupied hand for me to take as he gets up from the white padded bar. "I have some people for you to meet."

The hours flew by and I didn't realise how late it was until I see Arthur entering the hall, his long legs eating up the distance between us. "Honey bun." He greeted, his lips curling into a warm smile, causing my heart to tug at the sound of his deep voice. I smiled in return before turning to observe the fully decorated hall in front of me. The theme for the Halloween Party is a masked ball and murder mystery. The hall is set up like a large crime scene with bloody sofas, broken furniture, lopsided decor and several broken memorabilia. And looking quite out of place against the crime scene is a dance floor and a DJ turntable located on one end of the room for people to dance.

I greeted the bartender. “Evening, what can I get you sweethearts?” he smirks as he eyes Hailey. Hailey smirks. “Something strong for sure.” He nods and gets busy with our order. I glance around eyeing the stage, itching to dance on one of the poles. The bartender brought back our shots and we gulped it in one go, it felt and tasted like swallowing battery acid. Fuck…. Hailey groans beside me. “This is fucking strong…” I giggled at her scrunched face.

She wants to make Mason snap. “I don’t mind.” "Y-mhmm, If it's one from you, yeah, I want it." Mason turns to the bartender who's also flushed from listening to their very horny conversation. "You can make that, yeah?" "Yeah, a minute please." The bartender stutters and gets to work. The bartender stays turned around for a few moments longer than necessary, moving uncharacteristically slowly to grab the bottle of baileys and he starts mixing as usual, showing off his skills and all.

Amber and Samantha are heading to the bathroom and Heather is finding us a table. “Hey Luna! What can I get you tonight?” The bartender is a pack member and also Heather’s older brother. “Hey Jared! I’ll get the usual for me and the girls, add one more for Samantha. Oh, please don’t call me Luna in here. We don’t want any issues with the humans.” “You got it Ellie! Coming up!”

The popular multiday event would have contestants come up with creative pumpkin displays which they could pose before they met the judges on the main 'Oktoberfest' event. "Still not into it, huh?"
